Is it bad to be immature?
Posted 6/5/08
Everybody needs to act like a child for fun and humor. My friends and I do it all the time! But you have to know when to be serious and don't go crazy all of the time.

There's a difference between immaturity and playfulness.
I personally wouldn't describe myself as immature,i'd say more in touch with my inner child because i know when to be serious but the rest of the time i just piss around and act like a 5 year old. If you're immature you don't know when to stop being childish and come across as autistic so methinks you should use another word to describe yourself.

It's not bad to be immature, because you're being yourself and nobody can change that.
But there is a certain way, if you are immature and you annoy people, nobody will like that.
Just remember it's good to have a joke, but don't take it too far.

No, but some people can take it too far, there is a time an place to be immature. Some people just need to grow up.

I guess it's fun sometimes to act immature, but theres a right and wrong time to be that way. Being 16, you should know when to act your age and when you know you can just have some fun.

Naw... Nothing wrong with being immature if that's actually your maturity level, within reason of course. But if you're acting immature on purpose, well, that's sorta lame. But hey, whatever.

Yeah, but think about it, if you were to be completly 100% mature, wouldn't you be a really boring person.

You can't be that "mature" even though you want it. At your age its natural that you act immaturely. You can't possibly have the same thoughts as adults have. But if you don't act as your age does, like if you're a bit older for a 12 year old kid, well in your case, you're 16 years old; its really irritating. Why? Well, its pretty obvious actually, you're older than them and still you act as their age, its not a good thing. Its a stupid choice. And besides, acting immaturely will not help you.

i dont think it is...it lets you hold on to your youth...i mean if its starts to get annoying then it might be a problem...you just need to know when to be like that
