Ahh thanks for proving that region-locks are just profiteering at its finest.

While I generally like and support the direction CR is taking with getting legalised subs, I just cannot agree with this latest region-lock issue. You've basically just proven that region-locks are an unnecessary blocking mechanism that only support the corporations and not the consumers. Big business needs to realise the world isn't compartmentalised anymore, consumers have been going global and are demanding it more and more so its time for the corporations to man up and supply what the customers are demanding. Otherwise people will find alternate methods which are 'illegal' and profits will be lost.

I realise the above isn't really an issue solely related to CR, but they are in a position to influence the market if they can provide enough data and feedback to those dastardly shadowy corporations running things from behind the scenes.

If you read his post, you can see he is fighting to get them pulled, just 2 weeks ago Naruto was blocked everywhere but America's group, now it is almost everywhere(not France for some strange reason) so he is trying.

You have had a lot of work and responsibility thrust upon you. Thank you for making this a legal site and supporting the creators. Can't wait to see what else you have planned for CR!

Agreeing with what red fox said. And I would also like to add that It ain't shinjis fault that the creators has licensed their anime. Just put your faith in shinji and let him provide the shows in his own pace. By supporting the illegal way of watching anime, you will in the long run only make more animes close down. I'd rather see the whole anime here then for it to be cut down in half like D.Gray-Man. You'll understand when the anime creators stop subbing animes that don't economically benefit them in any way. They should benefit on their services as much as new line cinema benefit on their movies in the US (just as an example). Everything has to start somewhere why not let crunchyroll be the way of making animes last and provide a win-win situation for all involved?

I couldn't have said it better myself!

okay, anime is cool and all, but wat about the drama, there are updates about all the anime all the time, but please, can someone please tell me if theres a chance that drama and movies will be back? even if theres 1% i will wait, since that means theres hope! but if anime is gonna be the only thing left here, wats all the drama lovers gonna do? please, neone, just update me! since the last few posts that shinji made, all ive read about is anime, i dont want to be a drag, and i guess i am, but maybe just once he can tell us about this, and so many ppl will stop wondering, or maybe im the only one...but oh well, congrats to all of u who get to view ur anime though =) my sis loves anime, and shes quite happy about some of these changes, thx to all of u who are working hard to let viewers see wat they want! we can only ask for so much, although im not into anime, i wish u luck in getting the anime allowed in ur area!

can't believe that i'm saying this but...

Crunchryroll is officially going down in a messed up downward spiral....

but i don't have problems with anime at all, since i just download it now from my "sources". but then again, removing a important feature for all users, the homepage, is really bogging us all down. plus the fact that the "Region Lock" is really a total drag for users who can't afford the so called "Anime Membership" not everyone has Credit Cards, you know........

that's all i have to say. good day to you all...

Hmm... Remember CR saying that only Naruto Shipuuden & Shugo Chara are the only animes that will be available to the rest of the world while the others are being blocked? Guess what? I just noticed that some of the older Shugo Chara episodes are now not even available to non-members already. I guess they're really turning this into a pay site.

Positive note: There are some really good updates to the site.
The other note: There are animes disappearing without much reason given as why. Before when the site was license you posted it, I griped then I moved on. Now I'm left feeling like a rejected girlfriend who you won't even tell that the relationship is through.
At least post what can non-paying members have acess to and let me decide if it is really worth to pay for membership and dump the other site I'm paying for (which is cheaper than here) or should I just move on.
