1. Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G (Capcom) – PSP (2,452,111)
2. Pokemon Platinum (Pokemon Company) – DS (2,187,337)
3. Wii Fit (Nintendo) – Wii (2,149,131)
4. Mario Kart Wii (Nintendo) – Wii (2,003,315)
5. Super Smash Bros Brawl (Nintendo) – Wii (1,747,113)
6. Rhythm Heaven (Nintendo) – DS (1,350,671)
7. Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride (Square Enix) – DS (1,176,082)
8. Animal Crossing: City Folk (Nintendo) – Wii (895,302)

Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G is on top, can't argue with that.

Other News
Please refrain from posting comments here since it makes the thread messy. Post comments on the group wall instead. Also there's more news about the FFCC series but I'm not really a big fan of theirs. So I hope one of you guys can post articles on them.

Character Customization is GO in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days

Think of it as a panel system in which you get to customize your characters. For those of you who have played Rockman EXE for the gameboy advance, you will find it strikingly similar.
Weapons also change in look based on how you lay out your panels. Look at the picture for more understanding.

Its for the DS by the way.

DFF Ultimania Goes Gold

The book in my previous news entry is up for sale now. Full color pages and an in-depth look at the game.
Secrets revealed, map overlays and tips on different characters as well as their backgrounds. With this, who needs a crappy English version! Hooray!

For those of you who are wondering, yes I am getting it soon. But I will not translate every single aspect of the book since it's so darn thick.

Japan Monthly Software Sales - Dissidia Tops List

The study from 29th December 2008 to 25th January 2009 revealed Dissidia tops the rank list with 18.6 million copies sold (and in just 1 month!). It's bigger Final Fantasy brother, Crisis Core, managed to land a total sales of 84.7 million copies since it's release.

Overall Nintendo is still dominating the charts, with Sony having some saving grace in the form on Monster Hunter Portable 2ndG.

DFF Ultimania Unveils Interview Shadowing a Sequel?

One of the exclusive interviews that is inside the DFF Ultimania book involved an interview with Tetsuya Nomura over a possible sequel to the game.

"There are no current plans for a sequel. To be honest, I wanted to do one up until a few months ago. I even called [Mitsunori] Takahashi, the planning director, and [Ryuji] Ikeda, the lead programmer, to talk about sequel concepts -- I told them to think about what they were going to do and prepare themselves [to make a sequel]. However, circumstances inside the company wiped that idea out... to actually make [a sequel] happen would be very difficult given the situation.
- Tetsuya Nomura"

But a ray of hope is still available.

"If a lot of fans ask for a Dissidia II, circumstances might change. I'd like to think about the matter again if that happens.
- Tetsuya Nomura"

V-Jump Reveals More on "Nora Team" and Their Crew

I don't really have the scans at the moment but this has been confirmed. Apparently V-Jump revealed the identities of the other members in the Nora Team, led by Snow.

First is レブロ(Reburo), pronounced as Rebel in English. Apparently she's the only female member of the Nora team.
Secondly is ガドー(Gado), pronounced either as Guard or Gadou in English. He's the one with the cowlick hairdo and big muscles.
Thirdly is マーキー(Marquee), lets leave it as Marquee for now, the small, blond haired guy you see with them.

The names were in the Trailer as well, but V-Jump made it clear.

There's also more news about Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days regarding it's evolutionary Magic system but I don't really wish to cover that.

Edit : Sorry for the late update but here's the pictures!

Yeah this will be included with the FFACC when you buy it.

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days Coming 30th May with Limited Edition DSi

Yeah, this is actually a Japan exclusive, though you can still import it. I have to admit though, it looks rather nice.
The set will retail for 24880 Yen.

Take a look at the DSi and some screenshots.

In other news, Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep for the PSP has a website now : http://www.square-enix.co.jp/kingdom/bbs/

Final Fantasy XIII Website Updated with Nora Team and a New Message

Yep, the Japanese website that is.
Here we have...

GADOT

MAQUI

LEBREAU

All these are confirmed names by the way.

The new message by Yoshinore Kitase talks more about summons as well as a recurring one.
The message shrouds the name of the recurring summon with circles but it is believed to be Bahamut (since the circles blocked out everything except ****mu*)
