that's not quite true o.o there is only so much one can learn from his own experience alone; if we didn't have books to organize and share information like we have today, who knows where we would be now. i don't think he just copied someone else's point of view either =\ when u gain knowledge you can form your own opinion, whether it is based on something you experienced yourself or an experience that someone else has shared with you

yeah whatever dude... books are good source of information but first hand or personal experience is still the best source of knowledge...my point is reading alot of books doesnt make you someone who knows all about the world or what life is...you cant read about cooking then claim that youre a good cook...read about a character sex scene on book then say "ive done 'it' with her and 'it' feels so good"... your shared information coming from books has its own limits aside from that you cant trust anyone...if someone writes and claims that he has spoken to God would you believe it?

of course =P i have spoken to God many many times. i pray to Him quite often =) and He answers me. not with Words that can be heard in this world filled with noise, but in a sense, you could say His voice is in the Silence. you can only hear Him if you truely want to listen. it is kinda hard to explain, but i'm not claiming to be a prophet or whatever, cuz i could see how people could easily take this the wrong way. Have you ever asked yourself if certain things happen for a reason? Maybe God is trying to say something to you too. i still have the feeling that i'm going to get alot of angry messeges for saying this, but please, before you do, i ask that you simply watch this video and listen
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vSvo3TBzLu0
and no, in case you are wondering, i do not expect you to take a 16 year old kid, such as myself, seriously

well, it is pretty much about money. would you take the bet? would you throw away 15 years of your life for any amount of money? of course, it goes deeper than just that, but it is not something that i should ruin for you =P why not read over the letter that the young lawyer wrote again?

I`m Russian and all I LIKE about our classic literature is Chekhov and Gogol.
Maybe I`m too stupid but Dostoevsky for example is too hard for me. Or not hard, just you know... too depressive.

lol I read some books by dostojewski, and almost every book by tolstoj. On the other hand I read only 1 book of gogol and I hated it. Dead souls it was called if I am not mistaken. Blèh I read about 50 pages, then i quit

Though I said it was long, I've read it that's why I want to know what it really means
