I'm sorry it's so out there. But it's been in my head since Christmas. What does the Christmas tree represent? No one know's when it really started so... For me I'm thinking it's like a green version of the Nativity. The star that led the wise men on the top of the tree, then the decorations... I didn't really think they were anything but I think they're like the sky and how its so beautiful. Then the presents under the tree, is like Baby Jesus, the best present you could ever have. :)

Here's another way to look at a Christmas Tree:

I heard the Christmas tree was actually started in Germany as a Christmas tradition back in the 1500's. I'm not sure if it has any theological value in the tradition though.

Probably no theological value, but remember it was from a tree that the manger was made, the boat (which carried Jesus in the storm) was built and the cross was formed.
