When viewing 480p or even 720p streams, I notice how the Flash video decoder performs pretty bad: the browser goes to 100% CPU usage (on one of the CPU cores) when switching to fullscreen. Playing in the normal size seems to use less CPU and plays smooth - the fullscreen mode drops frames.

Perhaps the player uses some CPU intensive upscaling method? Is there a way to fix this?

Problems arise with IE6, IE7, FF2, FF3 using the latest Adobe Flash and playback is even worse when using Linux - making me wonder what the video player is doing.

Please use the site support/help thread.

Try to use different browsers and make sure you empty your caches.
