mariia wrote: Chapter 27 Summary summary was up pretty fast Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide Misaki Ayuzama, Seika’s demon female president, is the childhood friend of Hinata Fukaya. After ten years, Hinata arrives with the goal of meeting his darling Misaki-chan once again. Hinata happily exclaims, Misaki-chan ♥ Misaki turns around and says, I told you, don’t eat bread strips while you’re walking. In a temple, Misaki is meditating. She opens her eyes and starts wiping the floor with a rag. She then vigorously sweeps the leaves that made the other boys surprised. She also vigorously cleans the toilet [it’s a squat/Asian toilet] Right now, it is the first day of Seika High’s summer camp. Every year, second year students will go deep in the mountains for this constructive ‘training’. It’s a summer camp for ‘living a pious life or practicing moral/religious teachings’. Throwing away their rags, the boys are all screaming that it’s a lie. Their sempai [upper classmen] said it is a great place and rave about it. What is this ‘living a pious life’!! Why is it in a Buddhist temple! Seika High’s summer camp is a free paradise to enjoy life! That is what our sempai told us!!! They complain about the things they want to do like collecting insects and meeting girls but this place is so deep in the mountains that there is nothing there. They have heard that there is a lot of fun things there but they planned to have fun there. Carrying a bundle of sticks, Misaki interrupts their whines by saying it is a lie. It is called the Seika High tradition of ‘Tricking the Second Years’. She explains that it is not known when it started but since this summer camp is really boring that it made the past students really disappointed, the sempai-s started to lie about it so that their feelings of anticipation isn’t wasted. It is also to eliminate their anger and resentment about the summer camp. Later on, those who are tricked wanted to ‘revenge’ thus they also spread that lie. It’s like how a mice reproduces – one angry person spreads the lie to two who gets angry for being trick so passes it to others, etc. The boys start to cry that it is too cruel. Our dreams and our hopes..It all turns out to be this kind of summer camp. Misaki shouts for them to quit being spoiled. They aren’t there for this school activity to play around. If they understand this then go back-- She's interrupted when Hinata happily shouts, Misaki-chan♥ Let’s play♪ The boys exclaim that it’s the ‘typhoon’ transfer student. You’re still quite stupid today, Fukaya. Hinata is about to happy say that today is the time for love confession-- He stops when Misaki motions for him to stop. She tells him that this isn’t free time so go back to his place of work. The other boys tell Misaki isn’t she too cold [to him]. This is cute Hinata so how about be a little kind to him. Misaki goes into demon mode as she says that it seems lately, she haven’t been strict. The boys get scared and shouts for Usui to stop her. Usui picks up Shoichirou from the back of his collar. The other boys quickly grab Hinata and make run for it. Shoichirou shouts for Misaki to save him. Misaki asks what are they doing. Usui says they are just sweeping. Misaki shouts it’s a lie. Shoichirou cries and says that no matter how much he moves, he just stays in that place. Misaki says okay already, I’ll deal with that pervert. Usui releases Shoichirou who runs off. Misaki asks Usui that when she isn’t looking at him, what is he doing. Usui repeats, doing what.. Bending closer to Misaki, Usui says who do you think is jealous, this is just making a commotion. This surprises and made Misaki blush. Usui asks is it not okay? Misaki shouts of course it isn’t okay because it seems like his motive is to make fun of Shoichirou. Usui says it’s a great motive. Misaki just shouts for him to just go sweep. While being dragged by the boys, Hinata notices Misaki’s blushing face as she argues with Usui. In the kitchen, Misaki is bending in one corner as she gloomily talks to herself, I can’t-- when did it start that Usui’s words would drive me crazy. She thinks that aside from the matters about the summer camp, there is also childish Hinata to be concerned with. She’s worried about him that she can’t just let him be. Her thoughts are interrupted when Sakura and others come in. Sakura says Misaki is there early. Misaki looks cheerful as she stands up and says yes. The girls say they are really lucky because all they have to do is meditate, learn lessons, sweep around, and other things that doesn’t need much effort. They are also responsible for cooking. The guys are all going to the waterfall. A scene of the boys looking pretty scared as they follow monks to the waterfall for training. The girls wonder what should they cook since the ingredients are all vegetables. Where is the meat for the curry? Another suggest that they use a different vegetable [amorphopallus riveri] as substitute for meat. Sakura asks Misaki about the division of work. Soon, there are girls who are chopping the vegetables, preparing the things and washing the utensils. Misaki is with the group that washes the dishes. Sakura praises Misaki on how she divided the work. Misaki thanks her then gives tips on how to clean the dishes. Shizuko says she haven’t thought of that. Misaki is about to say that she learned it from Maid∙Latte but pause and thought that she can’t say it. Misaki is surprised when Sakura asks what is it she is saying. Misaki says it’s nothing. It’s just that for someone like her who is bad in cooking, she can at least be good at washing the dishes. Sakura laughs about it then goes direct to the question she wants to ask, how is it with Hinata? This caught Misaki by surprise as she asks why is she asking that all of a sudden. Sakura says it is because she is really curious. Shizuko says that this is the major reason why Sakura went to the summer camp. It is to chat about Misaki’s love life. Sakura happily exclaims that doing this kind of work [washing dishes] and while Hinata isn’t around, it’s the perfect timing! The other girls start to crowd around them as Shizuko says that the others are also interested in that. Misaki asks why are they..[curious]! Sakura says it is because that passionate boy makes them curious especially since the other one [partner] is Misaki. Cute Hinata who is like a dog, they never thought it is a match. Misaki is shock. With twinkling eyes, the girls except for Shizuko ask, so what it is really [between them]? Misaki sighs and says that there is really nothing for he is only a childhood friend. That’s all there is to it. Sakura asks if there is really no other feeling beside that. Misaki says that generally about that [love], she doesn’t have time for it. I am the president of Seika’s students and there are many things that I have to do. Just like before, that is to look after those troublesome guys. Meanwhile the boys are made to stand at the bottom of the waterfall. They are screaming it’s cold, it hurts and it’s like hell. Hinata is shouting, This is great!! A boy says only one person is being enthusiastic about it. The boys tell Hinata that he is wild and yet inside he is like a elementary kid. Hinata says is that so. Hinata then grabs a fruit from a shrub and ate it. A boy exclaims what did he just ate. Another student that since Hinata is like that, what is it that Hinata is afraid of. Hinata looks back to see Usui who just came out of the waterfall. Serious looking, Usui notices him looking at him. While walking, the two are pretty much looking at each other. A boy is surprised and asks where is Hinata going when Hinata goes to Usui. The boys get tense as they asks what does he plan to do with Usui. Hinata looks angry then he pats Usui’s shoulder and says, it seems you’re amazing! Even your muscles are quite well-formed. How great--the ideal body! Shoichirou shouts for Hinata to stop that. Another boy says that is quite dangerous if he continues. Hinata says, no, Usui, if I’m a girl, I would admire you. This freaks out Shoichirou and others. [I didn’t get the arrow on Shoichirou, maybe because he admires Usui and he is girlish or he knows that what Hinata is saying is like a challenge to Usui.] Shoichirou tells Hinata that he can’t continue with such reckless talk for this is Usui whom he is talking to. Hinata asks what’s wrong with it. Shoichirou says what’s wrong with it is anytime he could be attacked and he won’t know it. Hinata laughs and says what are you saying, but I’m a guy. Shoichirou says that Usui doesn’t care about that. Hinata’s attention is then divert to a delicious looking red fruit. Shoichirou shouts for Hinata to wait for he isn’t finished talking. Usui just exhales and looks away. At the dining hall, the Buddhist priest says meditating and sweeping, eating and taking a bath and many other activities compromise the ‘living a pious life’. He tells them that they are not going to eat without even whispering to each other. No discussion hence there will be no interruption so, ‘Itadakimasu’ [Let’s eat] The boys look aghast at the food since the portion of food is so small and there is no meat in the curry. They were surprised when Hinata raises up his hand and shouts he wants another serving. A boy tries to call Hinata’s attention but the priest says he already said earlier that there is no second servings. Hinata cries that it isn’t enough. The priest says so he should just chew slowly to savor the flavor of the food. Hinata shouts that he already finished eating and it isn’t enough!! Misaki looks aghast as she says, that idiot.. Hinata whines that he can’t endure his hunger. Another student tells Hinata doesn’t he even notice the mood, he shouldn’t do that to that degree. The priest gets angry. A scene of grumpy Hinata holding a broom and thinks, no way. Later on, while the students come out of the bathroom, some people are talking that Hinata is punished by making him sweep outside. They wonder if he is okay since they are deep in the mountain and it’s night, Hinata is sweeping outside the temple. Is it a test of courage? Another says that taking a bath is the last of the things they are going to do. The boys says that if Hinata isn’t sweeping, he will definitely try to find food. Hinata might even think the ‘religious sacrifice’ food is his snack. They laugh about it then think that it is actually possible for that to happen. If that person is all alone, no one knows what will happen. Misaki and others just pass by the boys who are talking. She then says, most likely, really.. A girl asks her what’s the matter. Misaki scratches her head and tries to tell herself not to mind. Usui notices this then walks away with the other boys. In the end, Misaki did went to try find Hinata as she complains why Hinata is that kind of person who makes people worried. She looks around and angrily says to herself that Hinata doesn’t want to sweep so did he run off. Where could he went, that idiot? She is then surprised by some noise which is in the direction of a small storehouse . Inside, she sees Hinata looking for things inside. Hinata complains that he doesn’t have a flashlight. He wants it to be a bit brighter so that he can go into the mountains and look for food. Misaki is fuming in anger that she hits him on the head. Turning around, Hinata holds his head where Misaki hit him and asks what is it..Misaki-chan?! Misaki angrily shouts why did he open the storehouse on his own. Do you plan on becoming a thief?! Pouting, Hinata says it isn’t so, he is just borrowing things. Misaki angrily shouts for him to shut up and quickly leave. If the temple people find out that this is done by a Seika student.. Then hears someone outside who says, that’s strange-- Why is this open? Hello, is there anyone inside? Really-- who could have let it open. Misaki has covered Hinata’s mouth but she then realizes that they are locked inside by the person/monk. Misaki tries to pull open the door but it is lock tight. Looking around, Hinata says there are no other way out. Feeling regretful, Misaki says to herself why at that time, she has to hide, if she just come out and surely.. Hinata then says but like this.. He starts to blush really red and says being alone together in that place, doesn’t it make one’s heart beat fast. Misaki[?] says, yes..is that so.. She then looks aghast at Hinata. Hinata starts to freak out as he exclaims it’s alright, he has read things like this in the manga [comic]. He has to find some food and something warm. Wait, it isn’t cold. His mobile phone has no signal. But what to do now.. Holding Misaki’s shoulder, he says that they embrace and sleep until morning. Misaki asks what kind of manga is he reading. Still blushing, Hinata asks if Misaki’s heart is beating fast since the two of them are alone there. Looking away, Misaki asks why should her heart beat very fast, compared to that, they should just quickly find a way out. Someone is outside the storehouse. Hinata holds Misaki’s hand and says we..we are both 16 years old already. Misaki blushes a bit as she is surprised and calls Hinata’s name. Hinata continues what Misaki-chan thinks of me, and how you think of me, I don’t know if you have or have not but I..wish Misaki-chan would look at me as a man. This surprises Misaki. Outside, Usui overhears this. After a pause, Hinata quickly covers his face with his hands. Misaki asks him what’s the matter. Hinata says no..wait, it seems..I can’t quite say it and I feel that it would be meaningless. Misaki looks surprised as her expressions soften. Blushing Hinata seems to be indecisive about saying something since he is embarrassed. He says no..this can’t do..is my face is quite hot..is my face really red? He tells Misaki to wait a bit..if he looks like that..it will be quite meaningless. Misaki giggles. She smiles and tells him to say it, he can say it without looking. What is it that you want me to do..you. Usui looks dark. Hinata looks at Misaki and says that is..generally..I and.. The door slams open. Usui asks does he want to be looked as a man. This surprised Misaki and Hinata. Usui grabs Misaki and carries her on his shoulder. Serious looking Usui says, --then, what do I look like, as a man? Hinata looks surprised and maybe a bit intimidated. Around this time at the boys sleeping quarters, everyone is sleeping except for the three idiots who are playing around. Shirakawa wants to have a pillow fight, Sarashina wants to go on a courage test and Kurosaki wants to look at girls taking a bath. Some of the guys tell them to go to sleep already. I can’t help but laugh at the first part of this chapter. Actually, I can’t decide if I should laugh or feel sorry for them since they get tricked about their summer camp. It is such a downer when you expect something like a hiking in the forest, having fun, etc and it ends up like a boot camp well, not that strict of a boot camp but still..^^; I guess Hinata is somewhat like of a delinquent since he doesn’t exactly follow rules and just goes to do everything he wants or what his stomach dictates =P Unlike other delinquents, he gains the sympathy and worry of others because he does it in such a cute, naïve way like a kid. Since he tend to do what he wants, there is nothing hindering much from confessing to Misaki. It is pretty much a confession but Usui interrupted. Usui doesn’t look happy throughout this chapter. I’m sure he is pretty jealous of Hinata and angry that all his hard work to get Misaki’s good side and for him to be special to her is easily thrown to the side by Hinata. Hinata doesn’t even have to do much to make Misaki worry about him and get her attention to be fully his. I think Usui’s last line is pretty much a challenge to Hinata that he is a rival. Usui is forced to do that else Misaki might be taken away from him under his nose. Hehe, and Misaki isn’t exactly interested in going into a relationship. ^^; I like the tension that it makes things quite interesting and I eagerly anticipate the next chapter. Scans from Alice’s Chinese scanlation. Chapter 28 Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide On the third day of the summer camp, the teacher tells them that since the first day of moral training, days passes by calmly and tomorrow, things will be different. Misaki is relieved that the boys’ chaotic noisy nature has pretty much disappeared. Sakura and Shizuko whisper to her that they heard from their sempai [upper classmen] that on the fourth day, the girls will encounter a grave danger. Misaki asks what is it but they are interrupted by Hinata shouting then kicks Usui. Usui blocks the kick. Alone with the two boys, Misaki angrily reprimands the two for doing that since yesterday. She shouts that they shouldn’t just fight in any place they want. If they want to fight, then just wait until they go home so that they won’t cause any problems to the others. Hinata angrily protests that it isn’t a fight but a manly fierce way of talking. Hinata asks Usui if he agrees. Usui indifferently says that’s right, Sanshita. The two then quarrels as Hinata shouts that it isn’t his name but Usui keeps on calling him a different name. Misaki gets angry and shouts for them to quietly reflect on what they did. They are made to sit outside as punishment. Inside, Misaki sighs as she wonders out loud as to why those two are fussing about some nonsense things. She is interrupted by the other boys who are totally brainwashed by the strict training at the temple. They tell her there’s no problem if they do things with such vigor since living life to the fullest is the nice. They sprout other nice philosophies then happily slept. At first, Misaki is shock over the change of attitudes but later on, she hopes that they will keep that attitude when they go back to school. Outside, Hinata complains about being bitten by mosquitoes but it seems that Usui isn’t bitten by them. Usui just tells him that Hinata is quite popular with mosquitoes because he is one of them. Hinata is about to protest at Usui calling him Sanshita but he stops when Usui tells him that it will just make Misaki angry again. Hinata asks him if he likes Misaki or are they going steady. Usui just tells him that he won’t go steady with someone because it’s too troublesome. The next day, the students wear raincoats as they head up to some mountain. The girls complain about the rain and notice that the guys behind them look like zombies. Shizuko wonders if that is what their sempai meant about the girls being in danger. At the new camp site, the girls are really happy since there is table tennis, hot spring, and barbecue dinner. The girls then mentioned that it’s great that they are girls since they didn’t go through what the boys did when they went to the waterfall. The boys are really gloomy. Then, they imagine the girls looking quite sexy as they dry themselves with the towels. The girls notice the aura from behind. Hinata tries to hit Usui with a flying kick. Usui says that he is like a mosquito. Usui dodges then almost uppercuts Hinata. Usui starts hitting Hinata and saying that he is a mosquito that won’t die. They stop when they heard Misaki shouting, “What’s up with you people!!” The two guys look back to see Misaki shielding the girls from crazed guys who think that the girls are paradise. Sakura tells Misaki that this is what their sempai mentioned about the unsatisfied guys snapping out after three days of rigid moral training, not enough food to eat and not enough sleep since they have to wake up early. Sakura screams that on the fourth day, after leaving the temple, the guys will attack the girls. As the girls run away and exclaims their disappointment that the boys won’t even look at them before and shouting for the boys to change back to normal, Usui continues to hit Hinata. Hinata shouts for him to stop it. At the women’s dorm, Misaki is all fired up as well as the other girls. They are carrying brooms as weapons. Misaki is furious over this situation. Shizuko tells her that it is on the fourth day when it is the girls’ turn to exert effort. Misaki groans that this happened last year, too. They tell her that is why the teachers are guarding the bridges that separate the women’s dorm and the men’s dorm. That way, the girls can be at peace since the boys can’t get near them. Then, the girls learn some bad news that because of the rain, the river overflows so the teachers are stranded. That means there is no one supervising the boys. The girls exclaim in disbelief. At the men’s dorm, the boys are all hungry. Hinata shouts at Usui about what he can eat. To Usui’s surprise, Hinata bites into his [Usui] towel. The boys talk to each other that they are supposed to have barbecue. The others then suggest that they eat already since the teachers are not there. Some others are quite listless since they are bored to death then a guy mentions about girls. It turns this group of guys into ‘wolves’ as they decide to go across and accompany the girls. The girls suddenly feel a cold chill. Misaki has decided to go out and take charge of the situation since the teachers aren’t there. The girls are worried about Misaki. She just tells them if the boys come, they are to stop the invasion. Sakura shouts to Misaki not to do anything reckless. Misaki runs off and finds a group of guys. She thinks that these guys never learn. Misaki is surprised to see Hinata with them. Misaki shouts why he is there. Hinata sheepishly says that is because they said that they are going to see the girls and he wants to see her. Hinata says that he finds it interesting when they told him that they are going to play some fun poker games with the girls. Misaki asks Hinata if those boys look really satisfied when they said that. The boys tell her that she is quite astute. Hinata is surprised when all of the boys shout, “Grab her!” and rush to Misaki’s direction. Misaki manages to throw away of the guys but another guy grab her from behind. This made Hinata furious that he kicks away some guy. He angrily shouts, “How could you do that reckless thing to my Misaki-chan. I won’t forgive you. Let her go!!” Misaki asks who’s is his Misaki-chan. Misaki shouts at him to look at the mood since obviously those guys aren’t thinking normally. They would most definitely make the girls cry at the way they are chasing the girls. The other guys restrain Hinata. Misaki manages to free herself. Some other ‘wolf’ boys come out and shout that they just came to play. Usui comes and asks if they are playing ‘capture the ghost’ game. “If you guys are, then I want to play, too.” Usui pushes down one of boys into the ground. Usui says that he will play the ghost so if they don’t run away, he is going to catch them. The boys are aghast as they wonder why things turn out that way. Misaki exclaims that she also wants to be a ghost. Hinata shouts that he also wants to be one, too. The boys look scared as the three fiercely looks at them to come and play. Looking around, Hinata asks how they could play when everyone has already run away. Misaki tells him that it’s okay for that is the goal anyway. Usui asks if that means the ghost has won. Misaki smiles and says that they have won. Hinata says that those guys expression changed when they saw Usui. Misaki tells him that it is because they are all afraid of Usui. There’s a flashback of the guys shouting that it’s Usui and they’ll play that game next time before running off. Hinata comments something about knowing also what Rinkan High hates. Hinata praises Usui for being strong. Usui asks what of it. Soon, the two are arguing again. Misaki starts laughing at them. Usui asks what it is. Misaki tells him not to mind her. In the end, the barbecue is on the way. They help prepare the boys’ first then the girls’. The river has subsided so the teachers are able to go there. The girls were able to eat peacefully. When Misaki arrives back, the girls all hug her because they are very worried about her. Later on, standing outside the balcony, Misaki notices Usui standing by the tree below. Misaki asks why he is still there. Usui asks her if she can accompany him for a moment. When Misaki is already with him, Usui asks if she thought earlier that he and Hinata are fighting again but when something bad happens, the two of them are together in what they should do. Misaki says that is embarrassing and didn’t she said not to mind her. Usui puts his hand on the tree to corner Misaki. He says that she is also like that, hesitating with that guy. He asks if Hinata is a special guy to her. Misaki pushes him away since he is too close to her. She tells him that Hinata isn’t. It is just because they are childhood friends so she interacted with him longer than any other guy. Usui asks if that is why she always looks at [minding] Hinata. Misaki is surprised and asks when she did that. Usui asks wasn’t she always like that, always concerned about him. Misaki exclaims that of course she is concerned because Hinata is stupid and things happen. Blushing, Misaki says, “Always hard to manage..but..you’re harder to manage..idiot Usui..” Usui is surprised by this. To Misaki’s shock, Usui bends closer to her and rests his head on her shoulder. Misaki is surprised to hear a loud stomach grumble. Usui says that he is already at his limit and it is the fault of that guy for using up all of his energy. Misaki nervously laughs. Usui asks what’s wrong. Misaki tells him that it is already time for the boy’s barbecue so he should quickly go and eat if he’s hungry. Usui says that at the moment, don’t move. His stomach grumbles loudly again. Misaki is speechless. Misaki says that the rain has stopped. Smiling Usui says yes. The last scene is the three idiots are complaining of not being able to eat meat since the others ate it all up. Then, two of them looks at sleeping Shoichiro and thinks that he is a yummy lamb. I guess Usui is satisfied with Misaki’s answer since it pretty much meant that he is on her mind more than Hinata is. So, from the looks of it, Hinata won’t be much of a threat to Usui so he can rest easy that no one still occupies Misaki’s heart as strongly as he does. I think Usui will have a hard time later on if he is still hesitant about going steady. Hehe, but then, Misaki isn’t into that either since she is busy as a kaichou. Anyway, Misaki now has two bodyguards. I wonder what Hinata’s reaction would be if he learns that Misaki works in a maid café. Actually, since the jealousy issue seems to be resolve, what else is Hinata’s use for the story? ^^; Ah, I’m quite fond of him. =P Chapter 29 Summary Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide In the staff room, Erika, a co-worker, tells Misaki about her problem regarding an agreement with a customer wherein if the other party wins a contest, she will have to date that person. It started with a request by a customer and she agreed to it. Satsuki must have overheard it and agreed to do that activity. Misaki asks what it is. It is a dessert eating contest. All of the desserts will be made by Usui. Erika doesn’t want to back down on it so Misaki suggests that all she has to do is win the contest. On the day of the competition, everything is already prepared. Usui will be helped by two ladies in preparing the desserts for the contest. In a corner away from the café, Erika asks if it is really okay. Misaki, who is dressed up as a guitarist with shades and feathered collar coat, assures her that there is nothing to worry about. She is a bit worried about being exposed. Erika assures her that she has confidence about that disguise that no one will know that she is Misaki. Erika goes to the café for work. Misaki is on leave that day. Misaki then walks casually to the café then becomes shock when she sees Hinata there. Hinata happily says, “Ah, it’s like a dream. Only cakes to eat!” The three idiots ask him why he is there. Hinata tells them that he heard from other café’s eating contest competitions about the competition in that place. Misaki tries to calm herself as one of the idiots shout at Hinata that only those who like maids can participate in that contest. Shirakawa exclaims that they are there for Misaki. Misaki hits him and darkly + angrily apologizes. The three idiots are scared. Misaki thinks that she has already anticipated the three idiots but she didn’t expect Hinata to be there. Misaki thinks that her work won’t be exposed because she came there today as a guest. She came there for Erika. A flashback shows that she told Erika that she can eat sweets. She has disguised herself because others might think it is unfair since she is a worker there. So, it will be okay if no one knows. At the back, Erika is quite nervous as she looks out to the guests. Usui is behind her and spots Misaki. Misaki quickly covers her face. Erika gets more nervous as Usui looks as if he knows it is Misaki. Hinata seems to also took notice of her but Satsuki rings a bell to announce the start of the contest. She tells everyone about the rules of the contest. If the contestant ate all the served desserts [I think 10 servings], then those desserts will be free of charge then in the finals, the winner will win a maid-inspired reward. Those who weren’t able to finish the served desserts will have to pay for the eaten desserts. They should try their best to finish the plate else they will be given a maid punishment. Misaki thinks that she has to eat more than glasses guy [Erika’s customer]. First dessert is a cute heart shaped cake, Angel’s Heart. The maids will serve the contestants as Satsuki tells them about the dessert – the ‘feathers’ are made of white chocolate and the cake is covered with raspberry jam. Misaki takes a bite and thinks that it is made by Usui. Even if she already knew that he is very good, she didn’t expect him to make the dessert look so cute. As the contestants eat their desserts, Satsuki goes inside to praise Usui that the dessert looks delicious and cute. Usui mentions that he can do it if he is interested in it. His two helpers can only cry about having even a part of his talent. One cute Dessert after another are served as the contestants eat them. [Hinata’s expression is so cute. =P] Kurosaki is the first to quit because he can no longer eat it and if he did, he is going to vomit. Kurosaki seems purposely not finish his plate so that he can receive the maid punishment from Subaru. The punishment for wasting food is a flick on the forehead that is so strong that it leaves a bump later on. This made the other two idiots to quickly finish their plates. Misaki wonders how many desserts more does she have to eat. There are finally two desserts left. As Usui predicted, they are slowing down. [I think he is serving the sweetest and more filling desserts at the end since Hanoka mentioned that he is S (sadist).] Usui smiles and says that it is more interesting that way. Misaki is having a hard time eating as the desserts are mostly cakes now with lots of cream. Two of the idiots give up. Glasses guy still forces himself to eat just for Erica. Hinata tells him to quickly eat it up already because he wants to eat the next dessert. Kurosaki says that their work is all a waste. The two idiots shout for him to shut up as they are freaking out over their bill for the desserts. This made Misaki more determined to finish it even if she dies. [Because she doesn’t have the money to pay] The final dessert is a strawberry cream cake called, “Maid’s True Heart” Misaki tries her best to eat it all since she doesn’t have to pay. Erica’s customer is already having a hard time eating. Hinata happily eats his cake. Misaki is glad that Erica’s customer has finally call it quits. In the end, only Hinata and Misaki are left in the contest. [Misaki is using an alias] Misaki is happy that she made through it and Erica is also happy that her customer has already quit. Satsuki announces that it is time for the championship. Hinata is happy that there is still more because he isn’t full yet. The three prizes are as follows: 1. cakes that are made by the maids, 2. maid special lunch for two, and 3. a souvenir photo with your favorite maid. Misaki didn’t know about that as she is already laying her head on the table. The three idiots cry that they should have hang on there if only they knew about the rewards. Satsuki asks Hinata if he decided on which maid would he want to have a picture with. Hinata cluelessly asks if anyone can do. Satsuki take out a board filled with maid names. She tells him that he can choose anyone from there. Misaki is happy that she isn’t on duty that day but she is shock when Satsuki says that if that maid isn’t there, he can take the picture later on. Misaki quickly sits up and goes into extreme shock when Hinata chooses ‘Misaki’. Hinata says that it is the same name as the girl he likes. Satsuki says that’s great that it’s a coincidence. Satsuki asks Misaki if she wants to continue since in this round, the one who eats the fastest wins. She tells Misaki not to force herself. Misaki accepts the challenge. Satsuki informs Usui about the decision. Usui decides to make a sweet dessert that they won’t ever forget. Misaki is shock while Hinata is delighted to see a whole heart shaped cake called, “Especially for You”. Misaki freaks out that she will explode if she ate it all up. In her ‘mind’, Hinata is morphing into a monster who exclaims that it looks great and delicious. Misaki psyches herself that ‘eating cakes = happy times/privilege’ and it can also avert a dangerous situation so it’s two birds with one stone. She doesn’t want another student to find out her secret. On start, Misaki forces herself to eat as Hinata happily eats his share. Erica worriedly looks at Misaki. Honoka and Subaru ask her why ‘Misaki’ [alias] is forcing herself when the motive is already over. Erica realizes that they are already found out. Erica nervously tries to explain that it is all because of her but the other girls just tell her to tell them later on. And the winner is, Hinata. Hinata says that he ate all of it because they are all delicious. They then give him his prizes. Hinata thanks them. Misaki stands up and is about to leave. Hinata recognizes her and tries to follow her but Satsuki is still interviewing him so he can only look at Misaki as she leaves. At the park, Misaki is lying on a bench. She thinks that she rested for 30 minutes already yet she still can’t move [from overeating]. She wonders out loud what she should do. Usui passes by and asks what she wants to do. Misaki quickly stands up and asks why he is there. She then quickly covers her mouth. Usui smiles and tells her to not move much else, she vomits. He sits beside her and tells her that she is really stupid. He suggests that she sleep it over if she feels uncomfortable. Misaki doesn’t want to. He offers her his lap as her pillow. Misaki still doesn’t want to. Usui mildly threatens her that he will use a different method to punish her if she doesn’t want a lap pillow. This panics Misaki so she quickly did as told. Her coat is used to cover her head. Usui asks why she is unhappy. Misaki asks him, “Can’t I?” She tells him that she doesn’t have the energy to fuss about him. “Don’t mind me for now.” Then, Usui teases her if she really wants to become a pig [fat]. Misaki protests about that. At the same time, Usui praises her for doing it. In the end, Misaki blushes and just lies down again. She is embarrassed that Usui has seen through everything that she did. While Misaki’s head is covered with the coat, Usui bends down and kisses her head. Misaki then asks what he just did. Usui denies that he did anything. At the council room in school, Usui asks her there is no longer any meaning for her to go on with the championship so why did she still go on. Misaki is shock that everyone knew about it. While they are talking, Hinata enters the room. Misaki is nervous to see him. Hinata pulls Misaki away from Usui and whispers to ask if she is into playing guitar. Misaki nervously denies it. Hinata asks if she normally wears black coat with feathers on the collar. Misaki becomes more nervous as she denies it. Hinata says, “Is that so. It could be somebody else.” He then happily asks, “Ah, Misaki do you know about this café called maid café?” Misaki shouts, “I don’t know!!” Usui just sighs and scratches his back. Hinata tells Misaki that recently he went to that kind of café and he is surprised that all of the waitresses are maids. He also tells her that it is a fun place with lots of delicious food to eat. He says that if it is a girl, then one should enjoy it more. Misaki looks very, very nervous as Hinata tells her that he recently got free lunch there. “I want Misaki to eat lots of delicious food. Next time, let’s go together to that maid café.” Misaki can only think, “This isn’t good. Things have become quite complicated.” Hehe, just seeing Hinata making it on the cover makes me really happy. ^^ For the chapter, I think it is the set-up for Hinata to know about Misaki’s secret. It is highly unlikely for Hinata to just go to a maid café so with that eating contest and winning it set-up, he will soon know about it. I’m sure it will be pretty amusing how Misaki will try to hide it up especially since Hinata chose her to be the one whom he would take a picture with. I wonder if a disguise would work though since Hinata and almost everyone else has seen through it. I’m sure Usui will help her with it. Also, we now know as to how Hinata survives with that bottomless stomach of his. =P Of course, Usui shows his talent once again. Those desserts and cakes look yummy. I wonder how much Satsuki is paying him for his work. Of course, that little kiss is a nice touch for this chapter even if I don’t know for sure what it’s for. Is it for a good job for eating all the yummy desserts he made or a good job for doing that for a friend or both? ^^ I feel sorry for Misaki. Her emotions are on a roller coaster that day from anger to shock to uncomfortable from overeating and finally on the next day, nervousness. It seems that it will continue on. Hope she doesn’t get an upset stomach from all the stress. =P more at : http://tatsukida.pitas.com/ wow it's so detailed. thank you! ![]() |

Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide luvsaya wrote: mariia wrote: Chapter 27 Summary summary was up pretty fast Spoiler Alert! =P more at : http://tatsukida.pitas.com/ wow it's so detailed. thank you! ![]() no probs! look out for the nexxt chapter and the next few summaries ^^ |

Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide mariia wrote: Chapter 27 Summary summary was up pretty fast Spoiler Alert! Chapter 29 Summary Spoiler Alert! Things have become quite complicated.” more at : http://tatsukida.pitas.com/ you need to start uploaded the next few chapter maria chan |
