Umm, Weezer - Pink Triangle ... lol, I don't know any really sad songs. That weezer song is the only one I can come up with at the moment.

Dammit, I was going to reply before I left for work because this thread had yet to receive a comment, and I get back & tons of people are replying.

That list was recently posted at ONTD. The majority of people agreed that those songs are indeed hella sad. I was surprised to see Space Oddity, though. It was a pleasant surprise.

While there are many, many sad songs, there are only two that make me cry. Wild World by Cat Stevens turns me weepy, just because I think about how I'm growing up and I'm no longer the little baby my Daddy held in his arms. Even thinking about that makes me all teary.

The second song is the ending to The Land Before Time. DDDD: OH GOD. NOTHING can make me cry like that song can. It's not like it's a sad song or anything, it's just that that's one of the first movies I ever watched and I remember seeing the credits come on screen and realizing that the movie was over. It's the sense of finality that makes me still cry after all these years.

Last week I started crying while listening to Waiting For You by Anson Hu, but I'm guessing it was just because I was on my period and so my hormones were all crazy.

You're still you, composed by Ennio Moricone. There was a version sung by Josh Groban. Really sad song, especially when you remember the movie it was sung for, Malena.

Gary Jules' cover of Tears for Fears' Mad World.

Evidently it's from the Donnie Darko soundtrack, though I haven't seen that movie (I'll get around to it sometime). How could they miss a song with the lyrics "the dreams in which I'm dying / are the best I've ever had"? I love this song.

Kudos for Tears for Fears

"Only Human" by K (it was featured in 1 Litre of Tears)
"Cancer" by My Chemical Romance

Also, for all those Spanish speakers, "Amor Eterno" by Rocio Durcal.

I couldn't agree more x_X
But then again... I think it's next to impossible to search and find every single sad/depressing song in the world xD
