The horror flick, “A tale of two sisters,” (2003) starring Lim Su-jung and Moon Geun-young has been reprocessed into the new Hollywood film, “The Uninvited.” The original story revolves two sister returning home from the mental hospital to their scary stepmother and aloof father.

The English version stars Emily Browning and Jesse Moss. Check out the movie stills here.

“The Uninvited” opens in the U.S. on January 30th.

oh, yeah. i saw the trailer on tv. it was kinda familiar but just a little.
then i remembered the kmovie.

why would they remake this? its not that great of a movie... the 1st half was ok, well it was pretty good, but the last half was just so sloppy and so much plot holes. im a big asian horror movie fan , so i think my expectations are higher than a normal persons. there are way more better movies out there to be remade. thai movie - dorm i think is better suited for americans to remake.

oh! I saw that preview but it's name, "The Uninvited," didn't ring a bell! So it's a re-make with a different title too!

the original is really good - really scary [i couldnt watch it alone]. it's a little confusing though...i had to read stuff on the internet about it. however, it was very interesting..hopefully the american version is good too. i have a feeling it wont be as good as the korean version though.

American version is scary but the Japanese version is even scarier (the Ring)
