All three of the trio seem to have something less than normal home lives. Death, divorce, guardians ... How do you think that this has made them the unusual "little girls" that we see in Kodomo no Jikan ?
What would change about their lives, if you could, to make them happier and maybe more normal?

I think it's very clear that Rin shouldn't be living where at that house any more in light of the episode at the end of the first season with the scisors and attack by her guardian.
Its clear the home life of all 3 girls is pretty much in need of some work. Kuro-chan is beginning to hang out with her mother, Mimi cost her mom so much in clothes that her mom openly stated it to her, thats a spirit breaker, and Rin is on her way to 16 at which time Riji wll make a move on her. Its clear that home is where you lay your head, and these three homes need a positive outside influence. We all hope Aioki sensei can provide this without fail.
