It's not to say that the love interests would not appear to cheer them on. While Hancock appears cold and heartless, she does that to protect herself from getting close to anyone. Luffy was the lone exception because he saw her slave mark. Otherwise, Luffy would not have covered Sandersonia's back when he did. The slave mark on her back is the real opening to Hancock's real personality.

She is one of the few women who Luffy has given a hug. Perhaps, Luffy might even give Hancock a kiss, which might melt her heart. I have yet to see either Nami or Robin's heart melt by Luffy passion .
