Think of nothingness.

Oh wait, you can't. That's because nothing is something. Funnily enough, everytime you try to think about the dawn of existence, all you can think of is, a blank, white / black background. Too bad, that is classified as existence.

Then it begins getting to you how nothing ever makes sense. If existence itself does not make any sense, then how does matter make any sense? How does particles and elements make sense? And lastly, how the hell did we have the brains to develop into living in a fantasy such as today, communicating & even creating daily situations in our lives, labelling every dilly dally moment & emotion, yet we still, don't understand, why existence, exists...

Our brains are not programmed to understand something we cannot sense. Well my final theory is, if nothing is something, then something is nothing.

Chaos is my theory regarding the universe. I view it all as one big chaotic act, but by whom is the question?

Maybe we don't understand why anything exists because there is no purpose for anything that exists, it simply exists. Long ago people believed that there was a purpose behind many natural phenomena, but now we are able to explain why they do what they do, and that there is no objective purpose behind what they do. It is more difficult to do the same for existence, since no one has observed how or when existence began, or if it ever had a beginning. We cannot fully understand the concept of nothingness because there is no way for us to observe the lack of existence.

Or you could always say that some big invisible people in the sky did it.

the difference between zero and nothing,
that nothing is the absence of number,
while zero is a number.
Same with existence: the nothingness before space-time is state where its absent(no time, dimensions,no matter),
not empty of matter or space.

Whole bunch of jumbled thoughts that didn't really get anywhere.

Midnite, Zero is the symbolic representation of nothing.

Look into Existantialism (hope I spelled that right). Btw, because something exists doesn't mean the existance itself states meaning. You have to find the meaning yourself.

Do you mean in terms of how can something have existed for infinty as it has to start somewhere? Then id say consider a circle.
Also, nothing is not a something, its the very opposite, a distinct lack of any somethings. Existence does make sense, its just hard to comprehend, you have to try and avoid the Homunculus argument, wikipedia it, when trying to imagine nothing. You tend to imagine yourself looking at nothing when there would be no you to be looking.
And good work on hijacking your own forum post about Why does existence exist? with a discussion about zero and nothingness

The word 'nothing' is something because its a descriptive word describing nothingness in other words the word is something that described nothing.
I believe if you went to some sciencey website you would find the answer to why we developed the brains to evolve into what we are as would you find answers about why particles exist and how they function.
Some people would argue they do understand why people exist and its because God has chosen this and for you to say existence can not be explained is because you do not believe in God but those who do have no problem with the idea of existence.
Language of course is used for communcation theres nothing wrong with that its a good thing so i dont quite get what ur getting at.
Our brains can understand something we cannot sense I cannot sense aliens cuz they dont exist but i understand what an alien is believed to be. I cannot sense that the moon is in the galaxy and orbits the earth but i understand that it does and why.
So i say nothing is not something because, essentially, i understand the definition of 'nothing' to be 'nothing' and not 'something'
