to avoid these traps...FIND A GIRL IN SOMETHING CALLED REALITY , cause we all know how you people fall for these traps
you:OMG LIK WANNA BE MY INTERNETS GF
trap:LIK OMG OKAYS
5 seconds later
trap:LOLS YOU FELL FOR IT IM'S A DOOD

No offense but by that logic you are saying that video games are outside of reality. Thats a bit... unrealistic?

i dont really get what you mean but
video games were made to be unrealistic in the first place it is for people to assume as someone else to become the hero, or in some cases bad guy(GTA). so there really not inside or outside

I use female characters on online games a lot simply because I find it funny when people are like "OMG, I JUST GOT BEAT BY A GIRL OMG WTFBBQ" but, I'd never tell some one that I'm a girl if they asked me. Never EVER would I EVER do that.

The opposite is also annoying. Which is why if the game I'm playing comes with a main site and profiles, I always check it. If they're some amazingly hot emo boy who's gay, then I automatically assume they're a girl. :/ I know it's kind of cruel, but most emo "guys" over the internet are just girls looking for attention.

It's also annoying when I play my guy avatar and helped a girl avatar, then the "girl" asks for money

rofl

But it gives me the creeps when I'm using my guy avatar and (again) helping a girl avatar then she says "I love you" and asks for money

Yikes!
I automatically use consumable teleportation items
Done helping so no need to flirt with my avatar to get money...

Well personally, I don't see nothing wrong with a guy playing a girl char. I mean if you're going to stare at a screen all day then you might as well look at a babe ass.

As for pretending to act like a girl, yeah that is pretty creepy.

I knew a guy who always told everyone he was a girl! He always got new boyfriends and made them buy him expensive things for his character

Well that all depends really. The whole point of most Online games is to play a role of some kind. Who says that role cannot be a female role? I personally have no problem with males who play as females or females who play as males. Most of them get the point of the game. Which is to assume a role in a new world. At least that individual shows some creativity, as opposed to those who just be themselves online.
