Ever since Skip Beat has been licensed by Crunchyroll, and that it will begin to be legally streamed here, many people have been breaking the rules. And not that I don't think everyone is nice and polite here, I have created some simple rules for everyone to follow so that you don't get banned, deleted, or reported by me, the other mods, or users.

General Group Rules:

1: Be polite to everybody you talk to. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, so down shut others out. It just isn't nice at all~

2: Keep the language at a PG-13 level. There are minors present, so save the cursing and above PG-13 content/pictures off of Crunchyroll.

3: Absolutely no bashing or trolling of any kind for any reason whatsoever. I don't care how angry you are or for what reason, don't take it out on others, and don't force us to share your anger by posting angry comments.

4: Do not post spam. By spam I mean those dreaded one word replies, advertisements, or comments completely off topic. When posting in a thread, try to post something meaningful that others might want to read rather than just trying rack up CR points with meaningless responses. Or else you will be reported and/or banned~

5: NO advertising! I mentioned this in number four, but its just that important. No matter how many posts I delete or accounts I report, the amount of advertisement posts never seems to drop. Please do your part by, first of all, not visiting these sites that are being advertised, and letting me or another moderator know about them when they appear. If you feel the need to advertise your oh so amazing group or website, do so somewhere else please.

6: Try not to double post. Although this isn't as important, it is quite annoying and takes up a lot of space. It can also get you reported and/or banned as well. If you forgot to mention something, don't post another reply, just edit it. It's simple and easy~ ^^

7: PG-13 Pictures. If we see that you break this rule more than once, you WILL be reported and banned from this group!

8: Spoilers are not to be posted on the wall. Just because you are up-to-date with Skip Beat manga and episodes, does not mean that everyone else is as well. Please just go into a forum topic that is already created for such a purpose, or if it doesn't exist, create one yourself.

9: Duplicates. They're annoying and once again, take up space. Please browse the groups existing forums to make sure that the one you want to create is not already present. It will be Locked and Closed if you fail to do so.~

10: We really wish you to have fun. Even if there are rules, they're not that bad to keep you from having fun ^_^

Important Note: If you have any questions or concerns about this or anything else, please PM a mod to help you out! ^____________^;

Yes it is ^^
What it means to be licensed by CR is that only CR is allowed to legally stream it. ^_^

I guess the only thing that people hate is to wait.

and to pay or whatever.

I agree to some sense.

Ah but here's the thing... It costs money to make anime. Crunchyroll is now an official distributor. Why shouldn't they not make money on a copyrighted product they have permission to host? All the money Crunchyroll makes and the hits it gets support the release of a second season. Watching the copyrighted matterial and hosting it on other sites is stealing. Not to mention it limits the chances of TVTokyo supporting airing a second season.

I don't mind paying for a membership to watch anime. I enjoy it watching it . It also help to know that it does help fund other things like to continue the production of some really great shows. But the only down side is not being able to watch some of the programs cos they aren't available in my region. Otherwise great job Crunchyroll. Keep up the great job and thanks for making my life easier by reducing the amount of time I take searching for anime with good sound and subs !

Because here you are not stealing it. The subs here are production quality and it's exactly what you would see when the DVD's are eventually released. When you go to other sites to watch it you:

1 - Aren't counted as a real fan of the series. Everytime someone uploads a vid here its counted and TVTokyo is made aware of the hits. Anywhere else isn't counted, meaning ratings for the series. Crunchyroll and TVTokyo have the deal. This is important!

2 - You aren't paying for the series. Even if you wait and watch it for free, every hit and dollar Crunchyroll makes, is potential for a second season. The more hits the series makes, the stronger the potential for a second season!

Besides the quality of the vid might be okay, but the translation is going to be substandard. Why? Translation isn't just about knowing how to speak Japanese it's also about effectively translating the meaning into a completely different language (grammar, idioms, etc...). Sometimes effective translation isn't just about what they said, it's about what they meant. You can't always get that by just listening to the Japanese, sometimes you need to speak to the writers.

You can see evidence of this just with the translation of the episode titles!
