If they turned this anime into a drama, I wouldn't mind watching it.
I just hope that it would be a JDrama, if they decided to dramatize it.

If it was to be turned into a drama, it'll most likely be in Japanese, but I hope it doesn't. I'm not sure if it'll be as good as the anime, but if they were to make it live, I might check it out.

I think that if it were turned into a drama, it would probably fail. Or, they would add enough drama in to to where it doesn't really seem like the original.

Highly unlikely. I would think it is nearly impossible to accurately portray the relationships between Natsume and the youkai. People and crazy costumes/makeup or CG would just not be enough. If they wanted to make Natsume Yuujinchou into a drama, they would probably alter the storyline terribly. There are animes/mangas that are not meant to become a drama and this is one of them in my opinion.

I doubt it, i dont think people would want to be bothered with the Youkai. It seems like too many effects, and dramas never have a lot of them.

It's hard to turn it into a drama with all those youkai characters and I don't think any regular cats can replace the cuteness of nyanko sensei |

*~ yes, I agree that the the youkai would be hard to portray and obviously they would have a hard time trying to have Nyanko-Sensei's role - CG or costumes, it would turn out bad~ but if they some how decide to turn it into JDrama, I'll watch it and hope that the producers are creative enough. ( - . - ) and yes, Japanese because of all the Japanese references, it's not like Hana Kimi which was flexible. (Just, definitely no American remake Akira, Cowboy Bebop, Monsters, Death Note... I pity) ~* |

But if they do make it into a drama, I would still check it out, out of curiosity
I really like the anime, even though it doesn't seem to get exciting, but it's still good in a mysterious way @.@

Well, in truth, they really didn't do that bad of a job portraying the Youkai in the movie "The Great Youkai War". I loved it...>.> Maybe I'm alone on that one tho???>.>
