William was standing infront of a dust covered window of his room looking out at the forst. His room was in one of the higher towers of the castle, but some how still had a darkness to it even though it's the middle of the day and was accompanied by a somewhat depressing atmosphere to it, but Still He stood staring out at the forest and just listening to the sounds that be heard from everywhere. The sounds of the knights bellow has they were preparing themself for the up and coming hunt. "What matter of beast will be the unlucky one this time to fall prey to are bloodlust?" He though to himself has he walked towards his bed, that very simple and picked up his helmet and slowly put it on. "May the gods of the hunt protect and give us luck, in are hunt." He said though he didn't know that he was once one of those gods. He walked out of the room and headed towards courtyards to meet the rest of the knight and begin the chaos that soon will come, even though they don't know it yet.

William and a few other of the knights walked out of the castle walls and into the dark forest of Eon for there hunt. All of them knew for well that this forest if very much deadly if you don't watch yourself, so they had gotten them into formation where they each watch another's back. They continued to walk silently has to not alert there prey before they get the chance to spot it, but suddenly a bone chilling howl could be heard threw out the forest and it only seem to be getting louder and louder. The knights that had accompanied him seem to be getting nervious has they knew that only a few of the beasts in the forest that howl that loudly and each one of them is has deadly has the next, but William got them to continue onwards for there prize. When they continued they heard a sudden rustling not to far, they stoped to listen more carefully to where the sound was coming from and slowly made there way towards it. They saw what would be the equivalent of a deer, but it's about the same size has a rhino with horns that seem to reach the tallest branchs of the forest. William turned towards two of the knights has they began to grin and took out there crossbows, but these where abit different then your ordinary crossbow, since they used a more advance polley system, turning them into compound bows, but that's not the only thing, the bows are also abit smaller then normal, so that they can put smaller string, but put just has much tension on the string has if it was normal. The bolts them self are short, but made of heat treated steel, with serrated edges that can cut threw the thick hind of the beast. The two knights placed two bolts in each of the crossbows and fired at the beast. One of the bolts past threw the beast right eye and exited threw the left side cranium, while the other pierce threw the throat and dug itself inthere deep and the beast began to bleed out badly since the carotid artery was severed. The other two bolts enter threw the abdomen while one pierced the lung which cause massive internal blooding, the other one inbedded itself in the heart of the beast causing instantaneous death. The beast fell to it's sides in mear moments has it made a loud sound has it hit the ground. The knights where joyfull, but still staying quite has to not lure another beast or beasts onto there location before they can take the prize with them. All five of the including William took out huge steel hooks and dug them deep into the beast flesh has they begane to pull it towards the castle. Has they where getting closer and closer to the castle they felt a sigh of relief since they knew that they would be home and safe real soon, well until the story takes a harsh turn for the worse.
