ok this is how i straighten my hair w/o an iron

1. Shower
2. dry hair a loittle with towel
3. apply a lot of leave in conditioner
4. lets harden until stiff
5. comb through

if hair is layered im not sure on how itd work but

my hair is straight from the ears forward
but the tied up part it is clearly bend from the tie i used

btw: my hair is really curly and wavy from the roots to the ends

picure us spoiler its big soo i cant really edit it smaller

Can you post a picture of your hair before using this method?
Which leave-in conditioner did you use?
Did your hair feel stiff/heavy/greasy after combing through?
How long is your hair? (I'd imagine it won't work as well
for longer lengths since it's easier for the hair to shift position.)

Sorry for the many questions ^_^'''
I'm curious to how well it works because I've tried something
similar before but it didn't work so well.

This kind of works but your hair won't feel nice.

Leave in conditioners kind of put a coating around your hair... and it just doesn't feel good..... =x

some do but not all mine makes it a little hard to comb thru but not excatly smooth but idc if its smooth i jus want to restore my hair after killin it with an iron for the past year

but if u dont wanna straighten it out u can leave it stiff and itll still look uber shiney

it feels a little bit coarse but not dead dry coarse wich we shouldnt be aiming for
and my hair is still and is almost back to its healthy state i reduced and cut off most of my SE

its also like a waxy feel but not really wax but some wut i could style it a but not but wont stay very good

Thanks for replying =D
I didn't expect you to fully explain your method to me XD
I don't have much use for it (my hair is pretty straight ATM),
but more like I was curious.
But nevertheless, thank you.

Han Ye Seul has uber shiny hair
and it looks absolutely gorgeous.
It just depends on your hairstyle.

leave in conditioner is really icky
i dont think its too good for your hair to put so much in...just like gel and hairspray, dont put too much product in your hair...
my hair can get sort of poffy and the ends stick out
my way of straightening without iron is just to put in good quality conditioner when in the shower then just brush brush brush brush when its still wet. keep brushing when its damp. keep brushing when its nearly dry. and brush when it is dry. hehe.
that way, your hair still feels smooth and its straight too.
try it it works.
and also i run my fingers through my hair a lot which i think helps it straighten too.

ahh~ feels icky ><" i don't do that, somehow i use hair pins to hold it down after shower and it dries straight... i can't use iron, cause my hair poofs XD

i straighten my hair sooo much... that it dies on me..
and the color turns an ulgy blonde. no kidding.
but i use PUAL MITCHELL SKINNY SERUM before i straighten
my hair, it helps nourishes it and it makes it soft. =]
this stuff really works but its EXPENSIVE!!
