When you watch an anime that is in its original context. How do you prefer that subtitles deliver the content?

Names:
Orientation? Asian style ('Family name' 'Given name' ) or European? (Given Family)
Do you prefer characters names are as they are addressed in the original content, or translated versions? (ex. Ero Sanin vs. Pervy Sage)

Translations:
Should anime be translated in literal terms, understood? Should context be edited for regional understanding, or left as is? Should there be multiple text filters for translated subtitles and English dub scripts?

What else would you like to see done to improve the experience of watching anime on this website? I would like to hear what other viewers think.

Names: Asian style (Its annoying to hear something different to what you read.) And their original names... With a TL note first couple of times.

Translations: Knowing quite a bit of japanese (nowhere near enough to understand a complete raw episode though), I prefer leaving it as it mostly. However, they also have to accommodate for those who don't know much Japanese, so literal terms is fine as well. They should never be edited though.

What else: Mostly the format of the subs. A better font would be nice.
