I think they just moved the date to June, but I could be wrong. Either way it is coming soon. The worst part is that those analog tv's are what we use when the power goes out during hurricanes (with a generator) and we take them camping.

Yeah what is it? I need a full detailed explanation pl0X

EDIT: Never mind I just found what it is.

On February 17, 2009 all full-power broadcast television stations in the United States will stop broadcasting on analog airwaves and begin broadcasting only in digital. Digital broadcasting will allow stations to offer improved picture and sound quality and additional channels.

But it has nothing to do with us since we don't live in the U.S anyway. Right? O_o

agree.

Not to mention, think about the poor people who couldn't afford the new stuff every month.

gawd. Knowing that, it sounds so similar like the video qualities in CR.
"Get an anime membership, watch in 720 high quality or whatever. Ooops. Sorry. We're having technical difficulties [again and again]." ~~kohjidmal

It just like the blue-ray disc and a regular dvd. Oooh. More HD on blue-ray. So?!!
It's a little improvement, dvd is still watchable.

Next thing you know, cable companies will purposely blur the video qualities so we can subscribe to them again for HD.

If you get a converter box, it make the tv clearer but it don't work on windy days.
