I appreciate the fact that you still make the attempt to be logical with me.

But I honestly think King of the Hill is an entertaining show. Some people may not like it and choose to criticize it like it's some intellectual comedy show. In reality it's nothing like that. It's just a simple show that makes people laugh. Obviously it's done a pretty good job of that considering it's lasted as long as it has.

Edit: Just read your edit and it has become apparent to me that you haven't actually seen more than one or two episodes so your opinion on the matter shouldn't count

ive seen many episodes, ever scince i was in 1st grade and even then it wasn't even funny to me ive probably only laughed about 5 times throughout my whole life from that show but whateve floats your boat

It's a satire on suburban Americana. People on CR obviously won't like it since they care about superficial parts of animation since they like anime, drama, and/or asian pop stars. The show makes fun of itself, gives realistic messages, is somewhat feel-good, and isn't full of itself. I like the fact that it's more real life oriented than other cartoons that depend on over-the-top situations and attractive/flashy animation.

they could have made it a GOOD satire, or at least a funnier one

So I know there are some people here who think they're right and everyone else is wrong, but come on. What might be good to someone might not be good to others, but that doesn't make it BAD. =_=

And I think it was a good satire. It was practical. And I think it was just funny enough. Compared to all of these silly shows that don't make much sense, King of the Hill is like something new.

in my opinion they make their satire too obvious. (it is for rednecks after all) i mean at least kinda hide it a bit, kinda like southpark's satire on global warming with the episode manbearpig. too bad global warming was real after all

Why do you keep saying it's for rednecks? =\ More like, it's about them.

because in this show the rednecks are the good guys and they make liberals seem like asians who can't speak engrish and fags supporting gay pride

I find it kind of lulz that you have so much time to waste that you would spend your time watching a show that you don't find amusing

Ya, sounds like it's a totally aimed at rednecks. Do you even know what adultswim is? It's okay if you don't. Pretty sure it's on after your bedtime.

i like this show. didnt really use to but. grown to like it. it has an acquired taste to it. certain humour that not a lot of mainstream people get. so i guess that's why people dont watch it much. also mike judge person who writes the show is awsome.

if you like his humour you should check out the movie "idiocracy" it has luke wilson as the main character, along with mya rudolph from old snl, and bunch of other people like terry crews. u might kno him from white chicks, the one who was singing the vanessa carlton song? uhmm justin long the apple cmmercial guy as most of you might know him from.
reason why probably no one has heard about it is cuz it never made mainstream. no one gets the humour. too bad for them lol. but anyways people who enjoy mike judge's work check that movie out and watch king of the hill!

I've watched it. Mostly because it's on around the same time as other shows I watch. Anything involving Bobby is instafail though.
