I will have to blaspheme and also say that I got hooked into anime because I like the animation styles and the depth of the stories (some of them), not because it came from a specific country. With that being said, Japan was wonderful to visit for the temples, yummy food, and people-watching.

Anime would be a big reason but not definitely the only one. I mean, I love the Japanese culture. If I ever get the chance to go to Japan I'd want to have the full experience  |

No, I don't really want to go to Japan.
Well, actually I want to go, because I love travel, but there are a lot of other countries I'd rather visit before I ever want to set foot in Japan. I'm a huge anime fan, but I don't have any particular interest in Japanese culture in general - just a subculture/hobby of the country.

Well, anime is what attracted me to Japan in the first place. However, I love it now for many reasons. I have a fascination for feudal Japan and want to visit Japan to better understand that old culture, as well as visit their museums. I also want to visit some of the areas like Mt. Fuji, some shrines, and of course Tokyo. Japanese music is my favorite and there are several bands and artists I'd love to see. That aside, I want visit one of their anime shops!
