I wanted to go there since I was a little kid, I heard they had the best video games (arcades) there so naturally I would want to go and check it out. My cousin went there and had a photo with a giant Pikachu, I was like "OMG I WANA GO THERE!!"

Yeah the sceneries in animes definitely make me want to go there and see them for myself...
But I don't think real life is beautiful like in animation...

True that the anime dose influence a majority of the people who want to go to Japan here. BUT! I do say non the less for my case. I I always wanted to go to Japan cuz I love food !!! and VIDEO GAMES YAY!!!!  Plues conventions and then anime because I want to see the Gundam Wing statue!! |

Not really. In general, I've always been fascinated with Asian culture since I was little, Japan being one of the countries I'd like to visit one day. Of course, anime brings more to my love of Japan but it's not the majority of it. If I were to plan out everything I would love to do there, I'd say maybe 20-30% of it would have to do with anime.

I have to be honest the original reason I wanted to go to Japan was because of anime, however, anime got me really interested into the culture and the land. I really would love to visit Hokkaido.

No, I want to go to Japan because of the culture, the cute girls, Akihibara, Shinjuku and that other district I can't think of, the food... Comiket, and the cute girls.

What brought me into Japan was the anime and really, Studio Ghibli. hahahaha my aunt had an exchange student from Japan. and i talked to her. JAPAN SOUNDS SO NICE and i love the culture. im not a fan of american culture.
