Well, they all have their strengths and weaknesses, so I think it's a close call, but I have a soft spot for Sakura, and she's badass, sooooo..

Hinata, by far is the strongest. She pushes herself to the limit to improve herself, both on offence and defense. She maybe shy, but when someone she cares for she's kicking a$$. She's also a premo hotty.

Sakura is the strongest as she fought Sasori

Ino is just a human telephone
Hinata only acted as a trigger for Naruto to lay a beatdown on Neji and Pain.
TenTen doesn't contribute to anything.

All you Sakura fans make me laugh. Do you people really think Sakura has a chance against Hinata. She doesn't even have to use her byakugan against Sakura to win. That Sakura and Sasori fight was only won because of Granny Chiyo contolling her as a puppt and even then it was only won because Sasori was a complete psycho who let himself get killed. Hinata at least was able to inflict a tiny bit of damage to pain all on her own.

Sakura is the "strongest" but honestly I think Hinata could take her by blocking her charkra and eliminating her "monster strength"

Prefer saying it a bit less antagonistically, but pretty much what dansan57 said.

First, I haven't caught up on the animé yet, have only read sections of the manga (and nothing past the lead-up to the Pain vs Naruto fight), don't know the various "extras" like source books, etc. so there's plenty of room for me to be wrong.

Second as a baseline, this series exists to make Naruto look good (overall). It is the typical animé trope. Naruto does get to look bad fairly often, but it is almost always an investment so by the end of the arc he can be all "awesome" for having overcome something. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it is a well known trope/series of tropes that is/are easy to mess up.

Third, "powerful" is subjective; power you can't control is now power at all, as the saying goes. For some it might mean raw physical strength, others overall influence, and probably should be an "all around thing" considering the entire range.

Fourth the choices we had are probably incomplete... but we'll work with what we've got.

Sakura has both the benefit and the burden of being one of the series main characters who is not name Naruto, which means she is rarely allowed to shine. She also has received the most "investment", becoming a student of Tsunade herself. Clashing with some parts of her fan base has also soured me on her, probably more than she is due. She brings a lot, but she doesn't get much done with it, which is why to me she seems on the "weak" side. It is important to remember that she starts off pretty competent for her age, then seems to get "weaker" as the plot calls for it before being allowed to get better again. It is the worst of both worlds; she doesn't prove her power by rising above meager beginnings, and she doesn't prove her power by showing "significant" gain by going from good to better, instead of fail to okay.

Tenten and Ino both suffer from getting so little time to shine. Ino really seems to have gotten the short end of the stick; she exists to work in tandem with her friends, and to be the weak link such as in the Three Tails filler arc (or did that arc fall into one of the sections of the manga I missed?). Ino seems to exist as an "inferior rival" for Sakura; that person that is treated as a friendly rival but is always presented as objectively weaker; the Joey Wheeler/Juonochi to Yugi, the... nearly everyone to Goku, etc. Even Ken in Street Fighter is allowed to come across as a legitimate challenge more often than Ino.

Ino has a jutsu that seems kind of "one trick" and is heavily limited (due to actual restrictions in use as well as drawbacks) and just hasn't been allowed to develop her skills as much as Sakura. It doesn't seem like Ino's been training under Tsunade (or at least been given as much training under Tsunade) as Sakura, plus she's got at least a few of the same hang-ups as Sakura, so while I am much more of an Ino fan than I am a Sakura fan, Sakura is indeed more powerful than Ino. Poor Ino. =/

Tenten... poor Tenten. I mean, some of the fillers have tried to make her shtick more impressive, for which I am glad... but she's like that character in a tabletop RPG that tries to be good at everything, so they aren't great at any one thing. She's really good at storing stuff in scrolls, I guess, and trained in variety of weapons, but in the world of Naruto, weapons really are tools: the best ninja are enhanced by their weapons, but can do a whole lot without them. Still, she wasn't started artificially low (so she could impressive improve without becoming that much better), and she has improved without a lot of plot contrivances, so I think she's done well.

As a Hinata fan... I can't even sing her praises in this contest though I voted for her because... well in the end its all about even anyway. Hinata started out so very weak but has risen to a level where at least she wasn't an quick kill/incapacitation for Pain. Still, she had a lot invested into her storywise, so she needs to be where she's at (or father). She has some uncommon tricks that really allow her to stand out (unlike Tenten), she hasn't been locked into a bad place/consistently under performed like Ino, and she's used her story ties to Naruto to rise above (unlike Sakura). Still, while the "character" suffered to earn this in the story, it was "set-up" for her to achieve these things.

Sakura was pretty much weak the whole time. Toonami is up to the part where Sakura and Granny Chiyo fight together, and even I could tell if it was just Sakura fighting Sasori she would be long gone and To be honest nobody would really miss her as much as they would miss Hinata.

I mean come on Kishimoto, you kill off good characters like Jiraiya and leave meh characters like Sakura alive? Ugh, I'm still sour about that.

But I still think Hinata's stronger, even if not by power she's a nicer to hang out with character in my eyes

Through their fights i would think Sakura was stronger. sadly, none of the other characters have had much screen time.
