Recession = the state of the economy declines; a widespread decline in the GDP and employment and trade lasting from six months to a year

What do you think of global economic recession? What do you think of the bailout plan? Are you directly or indirectly affected by the said recession? Moreover this is a general thread on the said recession so anything on it can be posted and discussed here.

the world is not well economically. I'm not a big fan as I work in sales to pay for school and this decrease in public spending is not doing so well for my bank. This means more stress to cover bills + tuition and a decrease in life balance in overall. So what do I think of this global recession ? .... pretty lame..

New Zealand = "The plan is all about keeping the economy running as strongly as possible, easing the sharpest impacts of the recession and preparing our economy for future growth"
The cost of the move was put at NZ$480 million ($246 million) over the next four years.

-Well, you have put in mind NZ is a rich developed country. NZ reserve bank isnt suffering as much as US,UK banks.
-NZ is about to hit the less the least of recession hitting a 6% loss in stock market over 2 year

With the current ongoing of the economic crisis, we might hit a "1929 Great Depression", and a dawn of WW

I don't get it why it's global recession.
I would understand one or two countries, especially third-world countries, are in recession because they couldn't compete evenly with other countries. But, globally, no.
In my view, someone is withholding the big chunk of money and wanting to see everyone be in financial despair for fun.

In Japan major companies are already losing employment like Toyota and Toshiba etc etc. I'm so worried, it's so unfair that it happens now while our generation needs to work.

lol the recession is BULLSHIT fear tactics, to get us on our knees

There is no gold in banks, never has been since the 70s, money isnt worth shit anyway, its just Paper as been for a long time...

If we were in a Proper recession like in WWII trust me the americans would allready have bombed an plundered an other country for wealth in order to keep there No.1 superpower status

I blame the Media who havent lost any money in this "recession" and the Private companys for laying off workers for bigger Benefits behind closed doors
