if it is a comedy i think that aizen will afraid of minor things like cockroach or insects, his figure,or dark/height etc :P

IMO,i think aizen wont afraid anything including fate, ppl strenght(he is strong and smart enough to handle it),n even death...
tis just my hypothesis
BTW,i dont think that aizen will afraid the 3 of them ...especially renji (i know he said so ) but i think he just dont want him to bring down his plan
i agree v pchery18 ,aizen is a perfectionist,he dont want anyone to bring down his plan...thats all ^^

I was rewatching the episodes of Bleach a few days ago with my friends and I think I caught on to something Aizen might be atleast worried about; Captain Unohana.

It is evident that Unohana is one of the most experienced captains within the Soul Society and that even strong opponents such as Ukitake, Shunsui, the Exquies captain have avoided serious confrontations with her at all costs. This brings me to wonder why Aizen didn't just take her down in the Library by the Central 46 with the board members as well as Toushiro and Momo. Aizen claims that it makes no difference to him whether he flicks one piece of dust or two (proof from the TBTP arc and aggainst Renji and Ichigo) yet he did not hurt her when he had the chance to do so and make things easier for himself in the long run. He WAS expecting her and estimated she saw through his 'Absolute Hypnosis' technique to an extent so he even made a plan to avoid dueling her. He made her choose between saving lives and arresting himself and Gin, knowing she would pick saving lives over killing 'treacherous reprobates'.

I know it's slightly off topic but I was wondering if anyone felt the same or if I'm just reading too much into things.

No, you're not the only one who felt like that, I somewhat agree. I don't think he's afraid of her but I do think that he's fully aware of just how powerful she is. She's one of the oldest/most experienced captains. In the TBTP arc, the other captains are shown to be scared of her due to how powerful she is. Another thing with Unahona is that in addition to strength, she's intelligent and also as an expert healer, can possibly heal herself during battles.

Lets think about that, She could possibly be able to do rapid healing to herself like Wolverine lol. That's a huge advantage over everyone.

But back on subject, Like I said, I don't think he fears her but due to her somehow seeing through his hypnosis somewhat, that he gained more respect for her. I think it's the same thing with Urahara as well. Aizen has a certain level of respect for Urahara and Unohana

Aizen is not afraid of anything(Exept Unahana). He knows everyone's moves and can easily defeat them. He and Gin both I believe are not afraid of anyone. Tousen is a fag. I think he's afraid of his own mom. But anyway, Aizen wants the power of god and I am thinking if he's afraid of anyone. He should be afraid of god. Makes me wonder how he will defeat god. I he can. lol

I believe your misunderstanding the way they are using the term fear.

i believe it was more fear of the potential or abilities of those he was talking about.

Renji- because he tends to follow his heart instead of orders which could interfere greatly with the effciency of Aizen's plans

Kira- because of how cold and blindingly faithful he can be, as well as the potential in his zanpakutou. He shows just a bit of his potential and capabilities in his fight in FKT arc which under another captain if Kira could reach Bankai could become stronger than Gin or Tousen.

Momo- welli would say thats because emotions rule her and emotions can defy logic as proven when she attacks Hitsugaya, thus making her hard to deal with unless he groomed her emotions to him.

As for Unohana I dont think he is afraid of her at all but he knows it would be a hard fought battle cuz she has great knowledge and experience. Yet he didnt attack her simply because he knows she has very little desire to fight just like most healers because they see what kind of destruction and harm can truly come from fighting.

Let me rephrase what I had said in the past since now I'm making this serious. Aizen said his zonpakto has perfect hipnoses right? Well he also stated that once it's been seen, you have now been affected by it and it's too late. But blind people can't be affected. So, That means Tousen is his weakness and so is Gin since he can easily pierce his flesh. What this means is that Aizen has allied with his weaknesses. an astound plan but can go against him if he so happens to betray them. It's a scary thought indeed.

i thought gin was his weakness cuz the majority of the time his eyes are completly shut as well as tousen who can never possibly fall for the illusion cuz hes blind as a bat. i don't think gin was persuaded to ally with aizen because of his weakness, from what i'm guessing gin joined of his own free will. y'know how gin is, he's sinister, cruel, has a great sense of humor and enjoys playing the bad guy role. just the way he responds to people shows that he enjoys to antagonize. theres also the fact that gin is not a pawn to aizen, he knows exactly what hes thinking and can tell what his motivations are just from his words.
tousen on the other hand is brain-washed, he's naive and under the impression that what hes doing is the right thing. he most likely joined aizen of his own free will as well because aizen and gin can minipulate people as easy as one-two-three.

back to the topic..i guess aizen is just cautious because renj would never betray soul society and if left with him or with gin or tousen he might discover that they are acting as central 46 etc..

as for unohana maybe he is didnt want to fight her because her powers are not actually known to a large extent and she must be one of the oldest captains for a reason
