I would be more willing to kill people to for important things. But I wouldn't do it because I don't like someone. Only to save someone else, for justice, and monetary gain (lol. I know the last one contradicts the other two).

That sounds very self righteous in a super charged idealistic way. Although our upbringing has instilled upon us what we know today as socially acceptable and unacceptable, to bear the task of ridding those who we deem unworthy by our personal moral standards, even with the green light of a killing license, would be elevating us to the height of god which of course is unachievable by any mortal man. Imperfect as it may be, man enforces a code of conductivity for societal peace. Go against those laws and man himself must be judged by his peers to prove his innocence. Allow an individual such an overwhelming task and no matter what the insights are nor the reasonings, he will view each and every single case subjectively for he has no other way of shedding light upon the situation.

As to the enforcers of law having the right to defend themselves, the goal is to "take out" not "check out" an attacker so that they may be brought up to justice.

hehe very true, just saying that even with freedom of being able to kill anyone I want I still wouldn't do it because like you said thats how many of us were brought up in which everything has a right and wrong. I don't have the right on taking anyones life as the same as the other person, if they try to take my life or anyones life that are 'innocent' then I will do anything to prevent that from happening and they should know that if they made the choice to try to take my life that they would be taking a risk in losing their own as well as there is always a consequence for anything done, the cause and effect rule.

So really I won't kill unless there is a valid reason, given the freedom to do what I want or not. I don't really know whats bad about that.

...well if i had a gun and a license to kill, would i do it simply because i'm allowed to without any legal repercussions?
...not really, unless my killing a person is justified in a way that the end justifies the means...
...even if an asshole that i hate in real life passes by, i wouldn't just pull the trigger without any reason apart from the fact that his existence in this world just annoys me...

Oh... Why yes... Yes I would. And I dont mean that to be funny or say it because it would be cool. I think deep down, I've a very manipulative side and even now I find toying with people funny. Toying with peoples lives that would be.... wonderful to say the least.

To be fair, I would kill some people who I feel deserve it but I think if there were no repercussions I could pick someone out and make thier life hell eventually ending thier life or someone close to them just to see what kind of rise i can get out of them. It sounds simple but eliciting specific emotion out of people and knowing the response you will get from doing what has a certain satisfaction about it.
