Listen every one should leave a comment on the toei animation page on crunchyroll.
If we all leave a comment saying we want this to be completed and that its the soul reason we have payed to join and that we plan on buying episodes for this show if they complete it...
Well perhaps we can get this show fully subtitled and perhaps somone at crunchyroll will take the time to let us know if they plan on completeing this show.

All we need is a little info,I dont see why they cant give us the good word and let us rest and not worry if in fact they plan to complete this show.

So heres my plan and if your a true fan of this show please take the time to do this.
leave a comment asking for galaxyexpress to be finished on the toei page on crunchy roll.
Then leave a comment here confirming that you did.

Lets try our best to get some information aswell from crunchyroll!

we want to know if this will be completed give us the word!!!!

Well, I tried to leave a comment but crunchyroll wouldn't allow it. Wrote my message in the box on toei's page, hit post button, then got a pop-up saying crunchyroll wouldn't allow me to post a message. Crunchyroll is the worst site for anime ever. It fails at every level. Hope they go bust and die of horrible diseases.

Are you a member of the Toei group? You kind of have to be in the group in order to post on the wall.

I've been a Gaijin fan of Galaxy Express 999 for 20 years now, ever since I absorbed all the Star Blazers / Yamato, and had to have more more more of creator Leiji Matsumoto's masterpeices. The subtitled GE999 are the sole reason I joined Crunchyrole, and hopefully we'll see the rest of the 113 episodes subbed soon. If you enjoy this show, you'll LOVE the original Captain Harlock show, which is probably the purest example of a literal Matsumoto adaptation, especially art-wise. Other Matsumoto classics like Queen Millennia, Starzinger and Danguard Ace subbed would be much appreciated! Matsumoto releases in the U.S. have fallen behind recently, with Dai Yamato Zero (probably tied up copyright Hell) and Maetel Symphonic Poem in import limbo, both of which I'm dying to see!

I've been watching Harlock here on Crunchyroll and I'm kind of indifferent to it, actually. I think it's because there are very particular reasons I like GE999, and other Matsumoto works don't quite seem to have them. Even other GE999 works! I didn't really care for the movies that much, nor Space Symphony Maetel. They went down the space opera route rather than the agonizingly melancholy meditation on what it means to be human route. That said, I didn't mind Maetel Legend, and choose to take that as my "official" prequel to GE999 ^_^ I do want to see Queen Millennia though, for obvious reasons.

I just posted a comment on the group. I can't let the first anime I've ever watched to be lost in history.

I found this site through Live-Evil when they announced crunchyroll would be the future home of GE999. They only had that one announcement though. I bet most of their viewers have no idea crunchyroll doubled the number of subbed eps. Maybe if Live-Evil gave an update on this it would generate more interest here? I sent a message to their email address about this but never got a reply.

I'm sure they pay more attention to how may downloads of a show they sell than emails from fans. If they aren't making enough money off a show they wont bother with it. I just might break down, and start paying for the downloads. I'd much rather buy it on DVD, but at least If i pay per episodes I can skip the extra lame ones.

I have to say that this was too my first anime i have ever watched! When i was living in Italy it came on and i watched it dubbed in Italian! My next fave is Fist of the North Star which was dubbed in Italian as well! I wonder when they are going to release the last 2 disc to the Galaxy Express 999 box set with english subtitles! I have 1 and 2 now!
