I'm gonna say Utada as well. Not because I am a huge Utada fan (and I mean HUGE), in this decision I am trying not to be biased.

BoA has a pretty good voice, she's cute, and she's a great dancer, but I can't see her appeal in the U.S. will get any bigger than it is now. Sure, she has the Korean population behind her (which grows bigger and a bit more intimidating each day), but I don't think that will be enough to catapult her to fame. Her voice is kind of weak compared to other hip-hop talents here, not to mention her very strong and very noticeable accent. In "Eat You Up" it's just really obvious that the producers are using Auto-Tune to mask her strong accent. It's even clearer when she speaks that her accent's not going away anytime soon. I think in some footage I've even seen a translator following her around. If you're going to try and break in the U.S., at least be able to carry a conversation. I also think she should have some role in the song-creating process instead of just singing and dancing. I really respect her as a dancer. But as an artist, not so much. That is why I don't think she has the chops, with just good looks and good dance moves, to break into America.

Whoo, this is getting kinda long. I'll just say for Utada that I love her so much and that she is awesome and will hopefully make it in America this time with better promotion and a more mainstream album. The Internet generation supports you! I totally support your haircut! Come Back To Me is a great reach to your R&B roots! You are a creative genius! I have more to say, but I'll just stop here.

To be honest, i only like BoA's song "I did it for love" cuz it's her style rather than Eat you up & look's who's talking.

I'm gonna try to find Utada's song. I think all of her songs r awesome.
She's the best when it comes to japanese songs.
