Actually, even though Taiwan made the first drama, they just based the story on a Japanese manga. And an anime was made before Metoer Garden came out. So technically, the original came from Japan.

But I agree that they shouldn't make remakes that much. People will just compare it to the original. I know I do. That is why I don't really watch a lot of remakes.

Meteor Garden is one of the best drama i've ever watch, i hope if they make a Pilipino version, it won't be disappointing..
