Stereotypes aren't bad. It's a normal thought process to organize the information in our head. And for a survival mechanism. What's been an issue is that it has been offending people and some people are discriminating or overdoing it with their generalizations.

A survival mechanism? How do stereotypes help us survive?

Biologically, our minds also have instinctive mechanisms built into it.

Ie. We associate red with heat and unconsciously associate the two at times. We tend to avoid animals with sharp teeth or nails. When we see someone who has a distinguishable trait do something dangerous, we also unconsciously associate that trait with that danger as well. (Not to a big extent; but it gets reinforced more and more depending on the frequency of the occurrence.) It's survival to be wary of something than to embrace it; especially if we aren't accustomed to it. Biologically, our own physical survival is WAY more important than being socially considerate of someone's feelings. I'm not saying that all the stereotypes in the world are good or completely natural. I have absolutely no idea nor do I think anyone really knows the right or wrong of generalizations since society, culture, and human behavior are constantly changing as time goes.

Essentially, stereotyping in general is natural and isn't wrong or bad.
However, some of the behavior and actions some people are resorting to are wrong in my opinion.
Asians in the SE "generally" eat rice, seafood, and vegetables. I know for a fact that black people in the south generally like comfort, southern dishes such as: fried chicken, fries, bbq, corn bread, etc unless they are Jamaican, Haitian, or another culture beyond American southern culture. I don't think most educated people think a certain group always eats that. But these associations have a connection according to the cultural history of each group and subgroup.

Oh, ok I get it now.

People would annoy me more, while stereotypes are annoying but they usually have some truth and sometimes it can be really helpful.

I don't believe it: you have never stereotyped anyone in your life? That is BS, seriously. People do it without thinking, so
mos of the times it feels natural. A lot of people do it just joking, so I guess that's why you think you never stereotyped.
A world without stereotypes??? Nope, I can't see the world ever being free of that. It's just impossible. Just
as impossible as peace worldwide, whose silly idea was that??

Stereotypes are the result of people being uneducated and fearful of something tehy don't understand. -_- If there were no steretypes, people would be a hell of a lot smarter, and less afraid. Less afraid means less wars.
