As a former TKD student, I'd just kick their knees in... Doesn't really matter if they've got a knife or two, if the opponent is a regular mob, he can't do a shit for a guy who has practised reflexes and kicking for over six years... -_-

See? Quite confident about my skills. I've never been stabbed, but I was being group-mutilated by other kids quite a few times when I was younger, so I know what pain is and I can handle it. (You can bet how their faces looked when I punched back for first time ^^)

i've kicked people in the knees.. its fun.. its quick undetectable but what you must see is ..if they have another one there
not everyone fights like the regular thug.. even if you're skilled and the other has no training..
they may feel adrenaline too, ..sidekick.. make the space..quickly.. or enter quick..

one guy ..but mostly encounters come in threes( adults or overactive teenagers)..threes bumrushing you..scary thing.
then what you do can lead to the police..or their family.. we have one of the most responsiblities

If you know the weapon.. and have dealt with as many xfactors in training plus with the weapon or weapons.. the other part is the psychological.. can you not be afraid of the blades at night? or the gun, while your mom or grandmother is there, or girlfriend.. these things are pretty farfetched but..who knows when this will happen?

not enough training is put into this.

i can say that for myself

first rule: dont panic.. & dont freeze
