i saw one in the mall last saturday.i bought it too..man,it was hard!the only clue i got,the center of the cube can never budge,so if the center is blue, the entire surface has to be blue...i only got one side,blue...

hmm yes dere's definitely a formula for it but u don't necessarily hav to follow it rigidly. u can solve it using systematic methods.

I did one side..
But i found out i did it wrong.
Cause when you have one side a whole color.
The other sides around it (except for the bottom layer)
is suppose to make a T.
So yeah..

Some kid in my class can solve it in about 1 min and 30 secs.

my sis helped me with it,and she made all the sides have a T while the bottom doesn't have a T...my first try was the same as yours,i did it wrongly but it was rather satisfiying to have completed a side of the cube.

My friend does it in 1 minute 37 seconds.
He did it at school, times by the teacher. xD

My first try took me one week, second try five days, third try four days, the best I could do is at least under half an hour (non-stop, no sleep, no breaks, die-hard solving).
If it's 3x3 it's ok for me, any bigger than that, I'd have a problem.

*chuckles*

No, I used to date a guy that did it behind his back to prove that it was just a matter... something or other.. I forget.. algorithms or memorization or something.
