I am sooo picky. If there's no romance involved, I won't read. And! The guy has to be hot! But the chance of the guy being ugly is very rare in manga books.

I like romance. anime or manga. i like romance such as "kimi no irumachi aka a town where u live". it just send you flying from reality.

I think its quite normal to be picky. haha
For me, I look at the cover first, if the artwork looked okay then I'll consider the story next, then after reading the first few chapters I'll judge the main characters and how the story flows, If it sucks then I'll drop it right away. If the main character is unbearably annoying or the plot just went offtrack, thats even worse.
I usually go for shoujo/josei/romance/drama/slice of life genre. Shounen's not really my type. The only shounen manga i read is Tsubasa Chronicle.
Oh, and i usually go for completed ones. But lately ive been reading ongoing mangas and it kills me to wait for updates!

Yes, very picky, about drawing style, and the story style of the mangaka. So I follow productions by individual mangaka.
But I am open to new manga too, if I ever encounter news etc about some good manga, or some topic that interest me.

Yes, if it's cheesy love NO. If it looks childish like Shugo Chara then i'm walking off.
I prefer more hardcore animes, i prefer "Sensible" mangas much better.
