New video player quality?

After watching, and taking s.s. heres what I found:

I found out that the new player is clearer eventhough its more pixelated than the old one.
The old player is kind of smoother because the pixels are not that clear compare to the new one.
The subs in the new player is clearer than the old player.
The GUI of the new player is much detailed, its way beyond than the old player in terms of look and feel.
The GUI of the new player is more web 2.0 complaint. :)
