i don't see the difference. watched the entire monster series using the new player and it seems fine to me. loading time for both players are the same because it depends on my own internet connection speed

hmm it depends wat show i watch sometimes its better 2 use da old & sumtimes its better 2 use da new..it loads so slooooow==" & sumtimes it freezes in da middle ov an episode so i always haf 2 reload da page or either wait 4 da next day anyway. .rite now i'm watchin romantic princess & usin da new player it takes me like an hour 2 load but its worth it

I dunno, as I've of differing opinion when it comes to viewing on the Wii. When viewing any episode from any series whatsoever, or at least the ones I've tried to watch, seem to become choppy in both video and audio while using the new player. The old one works like a champ, which I think is based on the version of flash used in the Internet Channel. Oh well, still able to watch anime, so I'm ok with the extra click.

Hmmm... for me i honestly thought that they should have just stick with the medium quality player tgt with fast loading times... if it loads slowly, it totally defeats the whole purpose of coming to crunchyroll in the first place, and veoh would be a better choice (with even higher quality and equal loading times)...

but well, i guess i'll still stick around as the community here is great and crunchyroll has great uploads...

There's nothing preventing you from seeing the high quality vids, it's just to donate.. The reason why everyone can't have it is that would've killed the site, and you would get to see fewer vids before getting the exceeded bandwith message, and I don't think people would be too happy about that..
