I just think that.. the old players had a small screen but the quality was soooo much better than it is now.

My quirks with the new player are:

1)The gray box.
2)Tiny subtitles.
3)Won't play after it's paused.
4)A Hi-Def video is hogging 88% of my CPU power & I don't have any unnessisary processes running. My computer whines when I watch.

The quality is & was good for paying subscribers, but the resolution was certainly better off without Boxy McGray.

DivX quality would be beast.

No way, you can't make screencaps of DivX videos.

When you change to the Old Player then decide to go to HQ or HD, the player will be reverted back to the new player. Is there a way to support the two players? And also an option in our profile where we can toggle which player we want as our default in watching videos.

Domo!

I second that! & sofar it's mainly the viewers who dont pay (& can't watch hi-def) who seem to prefur the new one.

REPEAT in highlights:

Hey! is anyone else having the problem where if you pause, you have to start from the begining to watch?

AND the new viwers are system hog. Check your Task Manager while you're watching in Hi-def & see how much CPU power it's eating.

Most videos look and sound pretty good in the new quality.
But sometimes it just loads and stops.
And when I pause,
Sometimes it gives a sudden echo and then I can't replay the video.

High Quality isn't too big of a diff...but there is some.

HD on the other hand is slightly MORE improved quality, and definately better sound.

It's actually really good, coming from a person with little to no experience towards this kind of stuff -.-

When I go to full screen the picture freezes, you can still hear the audio, but the picture is frozen.

that happened to me when i used windows vista's internet explorer. try using mozilla firefox, it shouldnt freze.

It's actually WORSE with FireFox because FF is more of a system Hog than Explorer, & system hog = system hog = bad viewing experience. When I watch an anime in high def on large screen (which is smaller than the old large screen because of the text box) the CPU usage shoot up into the 50-60 percentile. When I add english subtitles, the CPU usage rockets into the 80-90 percentile, making the video slow & chopy, totaly defeating the purpose of watching high quality. It's the worst on FireFox, but it's almost as bad on Explorer.

If this situation isn't fixed, I won't be able to watch here anymore & will have to ask for a refund on my prepaid subscription.

sometimes the video is only a slight change but the audio quality makes a huge difference which is always important too
