Introduce Yourself.

Hello, my name's Aerika (pronounced Erica). Yes, the spelling of my name is indeed very awkward.

Writing is a passion of mine. It eases my soul and it calms me down. My parents think that I have this anger management problem and they say writing helps me. It does actually.

I have several of my short stories published in local magazines and newspapers. And ever since, I've been looking for an agent for my novel-length stories. I think it would be amazing to have my stories published before I graduate from high school.

I aspire to be an author that of J.K. Rowling, Jean Ure and Jodi Picoult. They all have different writing styles, I'm highly aware of that. That's why they're my favourites. J.K. Rowling's writing was intended for adults but instead, her Harry Potter books were popularized by children. Jean Ure's writing tends to be targeted to tweens and teenagers. Her stories are amazing with a little twist and comedy all in one. Jodi Picoult is definitely something else. Her stories are so inspirational and all of them seem so real and relates closely to real-life matters.

I am inspired whenever I take a look at photography. It really inspires me to write stories. Every picture I look at I see a story behind it, waiting to be written.

I'm Mountainmax! (Not real name of course :P).

Writing has always been a favorite hobby of mine since awhile ago and i love creating characters, plots, and original works. I tend to focus more on character development and drama or action in my stories. And i stick to fantasy, sci-fi, or "anime like" stories most of the time.

While i am not persuing writng as a career i do hope to make a handful of novels. And i hope to be considered a succesful author and appreciated among the readers.

I only write poetry and have been writing since I was a 7th grade. Throughout my time writing my poetry, I have been given mostly positive response about my works(and some really good criticism) . Yet I still wish to improve my poetry and maybe fulfill my life goal which is "To reach to people with my poetry even as little as it can it be, as long it reaches.".
