Rules:
1. The book must be at least 300 pages. (fiction/non-fiction)
2. You must read at least 36 books for the entire challenge.
3. A book exceeding 1000 pages is considered a book. (not two books). Two 200 pages book are not considered part of the challenge.
4. Reading challenge runs from 27 February 2009 to 26 February 2010.
5. Reading books you have read does not count.
6. No audio books, mangas, graphic novels are allowed.

To sign up, just put down your name and books you planned to read as follow:

Name: (your CR name)
Books: (at least 24 but it's alright to put in more. If you've exceeded your list, edit your post to add the books)
(list the number of pages and name of author after the title
eg. The Bone Hunter by Tom Holland, 515

That's all there is. Unfortunately there are no prizes to be offered. All you get is the satisfaction. Anyway, enjoy the challenge. Let the fun begins.

EDITED: minimum 300 pages, minimum 36 books.

You expect us to simply read 400 page of 24 books with in a year? I could do that with in at least Half...... I think.

I could read a 400 Book Page for at least half a month, if nothing bother me at my time of reading of the entire day. Then again, i haven't been reading for awhile.

Interesting challenge. I might suggest that the minimun page count should be 300 pages. There are a awful lot of good books that would be excluded because they have 400 pages. I just looked a few random books on my shelf and the average seemed to be around 300 - 350 pages.

I can do this in like half the time.What if it is one book stiched together as the complete collection of.....I don't know.....maybe...Sherlock Homes...Oh.wait.MANGA DOES NOT COUNT! I REPEAT MANGA DOES NOT COUNT.I know some people who will use a graphic novel for this challenge.

Please piece of cake for me pretty much. My only problem is that I don't usually completely finish the books I read because I don't want them to end. Or the ending feel underwhelming to me. Whatever I'll be posting my conquests soon!
