I HATE it, when you didn't read the manga or watch anime/asian drama yet, but you already know the ending, like who's going to end up with who, just by looking at the pictures. >.< And most of the times the girl is the main char. unless it was a shonen jump manga/anime (<---of course it's a guy) I've watched lots of animes and asian dramas and read mangas and the most often story is about: The girl is the main char. who's either dumb and/or unique (tomboy or a special trait) The 2nd main char. is a guy who's usually the opposite of the heroine of the story. And in the beginning they both dislike each so much they want them to die or something. But they fall in love, because they realize that he/she is important to him/her and can't live without them, etc. etc. And most often there's 4 main characters/cast members, the two main couple that ends up together and the other two is the main guy's ex-girlfriend (or childhood friend) and the other guy is a person that likes the heroine. And throughout the story there's misunderstandings, sad scenes, etc.-___- This is a typical story that is so OFTEN for either a romance anime/manga/asian drama! >.>

hellooo, why do you think shoujo is popular?!
cause most of the time the ending is predictable and ends happily.
dont you want life to be like that?

ha ha lol thats so true!

like when they have a seen where they pass each other but don't see!!

or they totaly hate eachothers guts to start with and u know they're gonna end up together! lol

sometimes i dont mind but if they have an illness or something then it gets really melodramatic and predictable!

Eh, that's why I don't care for romance anime or manga, it's too obvious and boring, but Skip Beat! is fun to look at.

Yeah^
Skip Beat! rules

Then go find other stuff for your entertainment.
Or other stories that would suit your taste betterrr~

Searching is quite easy
rather than creating your own story right?

Writers make stories like these because this is what the reader wants! They don't like to risk their career in writing something that is out of the ordinary.

same goes with the trend of local movies and teleseries.. some plot, different place, different characters, same actors.. ika nga "kung patok, papatukin at papatukin hanggang sa magsawa sa kakapatok"/"if it's in, we'll rub it in and rub it in even more until you get sick of it"

It's the best typr of stories out there, granted they're predictable but every so often you find something with the same plot just different somehow. That makes it all the more...well worth it. But I still giggle like mad during those awkward scenes that are also so predictable
