I have enjoyed the game, though I put it down and haven't picked it up since. It has spawned a renewed interest in Piano music for me and in classical history........

It is brilliant love the battle system (6 harmony chains kick ass) especially on the ps3 ver that u can use serenade (oh fuck crescendo !!) but the story is kinda childish it is only good for 2 playthroughs after the encore mode trade it in.

I saw the game on my friends XBOX360, and thought wow this looks a cool game... so when i found out it came out on in the UK the other day I had to get it..
It seems the PS3 version is better aswell with the added exlusive content:

* New Quests, Battles and Events: Experience new quests, battles and events that will shed new light to the dramatic and evolving storyline.
* New Playable Characters and Costume Changes: Now players can play as Crescendo or Serenade and change some of your favorite character's costume to your liking.
* Exclusive New Music: Listen to newly added Chopin music – a key element in the environment and story.

I'm playing it on a 32inch 1080p TV and it is INFALLIBLE

I played through it when it first came out on 360 and I can genuinely say I enjoyed it. It's strange, the game doesn't attempt to be anything more than a run-of-the-mill JRPG, but I found myself enjoying it a great deal.

I think a great deal of my liking comes from the presentation of the game. The world is absolutely amazing. I realize some people had gripes with the graphics, but I can't seem to see through their lenses. To me, everything in this game looks absolutely stunning. Beyond the graphics, the accompanying soundtrack was excellent. The voice work had some bumps in both territories, with the unbearably high pitch of the child character, though I otherwise enjoyed it.

The story while certainly not the strongest part of the experience, I felt, tied it together well. For a simple love story and an existential look at life, the story comes up just on par for a JRPG.
