not too many however what I regret is when a story starts as a one time thing but doesn't really end or sum up. and your left with that WTF feeling.

When i started reading alot of mangas i didn't really know the genres i bumped in to alot of shoujo mangas, some of them were good like for example "beast master"
but most of them... were very... very bad, didn't take long till i saw the patterns and dumped mangas after first volume etc.
But still there have been alot there i regret reading and wasting my time on, the drama... it's just too much to the point you sit there laughing about how stupid it is.

I know what you're talking about, and I wouldn't honor them with the category josei. They're based on (the most horrible part) Harlequin romance novels that came out in like the 90s and early 2000s. They're just manga-ized.
But the one manga I kind of regret reading was Deep Love, and then all its equally depressing sequels. It was a beautiful drawn series and wonderfully written but I didn't know it was possible to put so much angst and madness in such a short series. And even for people who don't like happy endings will be haunted years after reading it. I actually recommend it to people is the messed up part. Kind of a misery love company thing.
And Naruto didn't used to be so bad. I don't hate something just because its fanbase has a bad reputation or its popular. Even though its been over a year since I read it, it was a great series. I just got a little exhausted and I may return one day. And I didn't really bother with the anime, which I think made a lot of people hate the manga.

X (aka X/1999) by CLAMP.. well pretty much any CLAMP drama... they never end well for any of the characters... CLAMP is just evil!!
Anything Dragonball... god so stupid and really bad art work...
Soul Eater.. to slow.. I liked the anime better but not enough to finish it.
There are plenty more but I must have blocked them from memory... thank god!
Btw.. I love Naruto & Bleach... they're just so fun to read... I'm always waiting for Wednesday!
