	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 2/17/09, edited 2/23/09 I always wondered why they look so alike. Why did you think Kubo made them look alike? I also want to state that I don't think Rukia likes Ichigo because he looks like Kaien. Throught out the manga, the only reference Rukia ever made of Ichigo to Kaien was the "fight for pride" thing and at chapter 117. She never thought "omg he looks just like Kaien-dono" when she first saw him. It was Captain Ukitake and Byakuya who thought Ichigo was Kaien. ~of course this totally my opinion so I may not be right about it Discuss what you think.

	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 2/21/09 at first I thought Ichigo was Kaien's reincarnation during the SS arc, till we saw Kaien again in the HM arc, so my theory was wrong. I really have no idea why Kubo made them similar. All we know is that they both look and act very much the same esp towards Rukia. Most people would say the reason they look alike is b/c Rukia can have another chance at love. but some IchiRuki haters say they dont like IchiRuki b/c that Ichigo is not Kaien. and as much as I hate to say this, I would have to agree. I want Rukia to be with Ichigo b/c he's his own person. not just b/c he's like her first love. Spoiler Alert!!! click to hide or show this whole thing reminds me of the Kikyo/Inuyasha/Kagome problem.

And they also have some attitudes alike, like actign high & mighty but they both have good hearts. Also, they both have been stabbed by Rukia by the chest. that's what i thought.

I only ever really noticed the way they both protected her and how she would act differently whenever she was around Ichigo and Kaien!~ ...~_~...

(i had it in my head then lost it)
