Here's our rules.

Always tuck your shirt in.
Never wear sandals.
Never wear dresses.
Never wear hats or wigs.
No cell phones.
Must chew with mouth closed at all times in the cafeteria.
Must not borrow other's papers or pencils.
No swearing. (not even "crap" is allowed)
No candy or anything with a high amount of sugar.
No mechanical or decorated pencils, plain HB pencils only
No talking except in the gym and the lunch room.
Need teacher's permission before using glue, crayons, markers, etc.
No touching snow or rain.
No crying. I'm serious. No crying.

And other ridiculous rules I can't remember.... it's just so sad.

oh my goodness?!! and they often wonder why sg kids are so un-outspoken. the schools set too many rules, plus we're not supposed to be too vocal or we get slam for it.. bloody sch rules.. i'm glad i'm outta such childish sch system..

my old schools rules

No phone/mp3/portable radio/wind up radio
Tuck in shirt
Tie must be long
Not allowed to wear a jacket if you're not wearing the school blazer underneath
No fitted blazers
No quater length pants
No black jumpers of your own, must be the school jumper
No patterened tights
No leaving the school during breaks (unless it is already informed to your head of year - e.g appointment, workshop)
No hats/hoods on inside (even if it's outside with just a roof but not an actual room - my head ofyear pestered me for a whole year when I wore my hood)
No trainers, not even black ones
No gum (I dont mind it)
No leg warmers
No jewelry (even ear studs)
No jumpers ontop of your blazer (even zip up ones or sweaters)
No p.e trackies with stripes on the side must be plain (in year 11 you can wear anything apart from jeans, I thus wore my pyjamas)
No taking food around, must stay in cafeteria
No fizzy drinks (I don't like them so it's awight)

That's it. The only thing that bothered me was the no music and hat/hood rule. Actually the jacket rule pissed me off too
