When people fight, science does play a part. Physics is used to put people in arm bars and break the arms.A lot of human anatomy is involved as well. Can fighting/martial arts be considered a field of study in its own? Can it be a science that follows the scientific method and uses experiments? your thoughts...peace over war

just because it involves science, it doesn't mean it IS science

and besides the science it involves is physics

and why are all of your threads about fighting?

Yeah , physical science .
You have to use your mind to fight too . And it's need science to teach how to fall that not gonna crack your bone , the best way of teaching martial arts , the way of how to protected yourself ... Well without science in fighting , I think most people just fight follow instint .

Are kids no longer taught the general definition of 'science' in school?

- systematic knowledge of the physical or material world gained through observation and experimentation.

omg...obviously. Everything you do is basically science...your a walking science!

Ever felt that ache after training? Thats your muscle tissue being shredded and repairing itself...actually growing back stronger. Now that is amazing yes? No pain No gain as it were.
