In High School Edge was voted as "least to win the WWE Championship" Well they were WRONG!!!!!!!!!! wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Edge is already a multi-time WWE/World Champion from Winning his first WWE Title in 2006 Edge certainly has come a long way to becoming The Rated R Superstar but u think Edge is winning world titles too much has he proven himself already that he can hang with the big boys, has he already proven to us that we are WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let's take a trip down memory lane and recount Edge's WWE/World Championship history:

Source: WWE.com

Reign No.1:
Jan. 8, 2006 - Jan. 29, 2006

At WrestleMania 21, Edge won a Money in the Bank Ladder Match to earn a shot at the WWE Championship anytime in the next year. For 9 months, Edge bided his time, waiting until the perfect opportunity to cash in.

At New Year's Revolution, he did just that. After John Cena survived a grueling Elimination Chamber Match, Mr. McMahon announced that the Rated R Superstar was using his Money in the Bank shot. A prepared Edge easily overwhelmed the tired and bloodied Cena, nailing a spear to earn the victory and his first WWE Championship.

Reign No.2:
July 3, 2006 - Sept. 17, 2006

The Rated R Superstar brought the WWE Championship back to RAW when he defeated John Cena and Rob Van Dam in a Triple Threat Match on RAW from the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia. John Cena was able to hit RVD with an FU, but before he could make the cover, Edge came in from out of nowhere and leveled Cena with the Championship belt. With both men already knocked out, Edge covered RVD and stole the WWE Championship from Cena.

Reign No.3:
May 8, 2007 - July 17, 2007

Less than 24 hours after Mr. Kennedy’s Money in the Bank opportunity transferred over to Edge’s “account,” the Rated-R Superstar cashed in following a savage Steel Cage Match between Undertaker and Batista, as well as a grisly attack by Mark Henry. With both The Phenom and The Animal down and practically out, an opportunistic Edge capitalized on the chaos and forced Undertaker into an impromptu match. Unable to recover from the caged encounter, the battle-weary Deadman fell to Edge, who earned his first World Heavyweight Championship.

Reign No.4:
Dec. 16, 2007 - March 30, 2008

Thanks to a little help from some friends, Edge defeated reigning champion Batista and Undertaker in a Triple Threat Match at Armageddon to claim the World Heavyweight Championship.

A pair of faux Rated-R Superstars got involved in the match, allowing the real Edge to sneak in and nail Undertaker with a chair. With The Phenom incapacitated, the Ultimate Opportunist then pinned an already-decimated Batista to win the gold.

Reign No.5:
June 1, 2008 - June 30, 2008

Edge defeated Undertaker at One Night Stand in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match to capture the once vacant World Heavyweight Championship in San Diego at the San Diego Sports Arena.

The five-time champion won yet another TLC match, proclaiming his documented background.

Reign No.6:
Nov. 23, 2008 - Dec. 14, 2008

At Survivor Series, Edge made a return in diabolical fashion as SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero inserted him into the WWE Championship Match between The Game and Vladimir Kozlov, making it a Triple Threat Match after it was well underway. The Rated-R Superstar capitalized on his worn opponents and Jeff Hardy's sudden, unexpected interference to pin Triple H and become the new WWE Champion.

Reign No.7:
January 25 , 2009 - February 15, 2009

Thanks to a betrayal not unlike that of Cain and Abel, Edge once again lived up to the Ultimate Opportunist moniker as he capitalized on Matt Hardy’s treachery to defeat Jeff Hardy and become the new WWE Champion.

Reign No.8:
February 15, 2009 - April 5, 2009

Less than two hours after losing the WWE Title in the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber Match, Edge created an opportunity to take Kofi Kingston's place in the World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber Match at No Way Out. He overcame five opponents, including then-World Heavyweight Champion John Cena, to earn the gold.

Reign No. 9:
April 26, 2009 -

After John Cena wasn’t able to answer a 10-count following a chokeslam by Big Show into a spotlight, Edge survived the fight of his life to become the new World Heavyweight Champion.

Nice historic look. Yes like anyone (HHH, Cena, Batista, HBK, Undertaker, Orton, Jericho) who has been on top of the WWE food chain, there will be supporters and haters. I personally find Edge one of the better guys to do it the right way, working from the bottom up, doing as asked (consider how a lot of these reigns were short lived title holder spots and he was still over), even being honest when asked on details (on one Off the Record episode up here in Canada, he openly admitted well before the Wellness Policy he was once on steroids like Andy Pettite of the NY Yankees, and like Pettite came out that it was for healing usage, and once he saw how it was, swore off it). Is he perfect? Nope, just ask the ordeal with Matt Hardy/Lita a while back that was legit. But I think overall he represents the WWE well, is the best heel going today, and a bonus, I'm proud as a Canadian he's a good representation of us too, both in ring doing an excellent heel job, while off it helping many charities around Canada. Kudos to the Rated-R Superstar!

His reigns dont count because if you really think about he never wrestles to win one or to retain one, I understand his gimmick is "the ultimate opportunist"(stupid gimmick) but ITS BEEN 3 YEARS ALREADY!! IT WAS BORING AFTER A COUPLE OF MONTHS Edge is THE MOST I REPEAT THE MOST OVERRATED WRESTLER IN THE WWE!!! he has mediocre mic skills and little to no wrestling ability

He still needs to prove himself. Almost all of his title reigns end in 21 days. lotusmaster15 is right, he also needs to work on his mic skills and in ring abilities.
