If Japan made a drama version of Skip Beat, who would you want the actors to be?

I agree with lots of suggestions on here, but there's just one character I just can't fully agree with and that's Ren.
Many actors suggested can act as him, but there's also one thing not many people can do.
To me, Ren, at first, did not look very good, but as the story progressed and I saw the many sides of him, I started liking him. And the thing I fell in love with the most was that radiant smile. Not many actors can pull that off.
Yamapi for one, can smile pretty good, but he's more of a "cute" factor. And many others on here gives off the "hot" factor.
Ren's smile is extremely difficult because the actor not only has to be good looking, but he also has to show off the sign of gentleness and trustworthy during those radiant smile times.

As for Kyoko, I haven't seen many female actors that I TRULY like, but one of them is Horikita Maki.
She can be the cute type, well...She pretty much IS the cute type. For the evil kind, I HAVE seen her in a drama-like movie once where she had to play a split personality, who, on the outside, is evil-like.

As for when she has to play Kuon, you all probably know that she has acted as a guy before, in Hana Kimi. Even though Mizuki is girl-like, Kuon is the cute kinda kind, so if she puts a little more effort, Maki could pull it off as Kuon.

That's enough for my two cents, since those two are the ones I really have an opinion on. I just hope that if they DO make a Japanese Live Action, they would pick better versions of the characters and put more thought into it rather than the TW version. I don't agree with Kyoko and Ren's actor..

P.S. Toda Erika might be a pretty good role for Moko. I don't know.Haven't thought into that much xP

I agree that Ren would be VERY hard to cast... and so would Kyouko... and that is why I almost want to say... cast an UNKNOWN - as long as their casting call experience shows they can do it... cast them... but maybe they should choose someone that we don't have previous ideas about??

...not that the choices mentioned in this thread aren't bad, I like several... but maybe we're approaching this the wrong way? Maybe we should state each characters behavior ... something like this:

Ren: Moody, unsure of himself at times (due to childhood experiences), good friend to have at your back etc...

and then go and pick actors that could possibly do it??

I think Tamaki Hiroshi would be a perfect Ren <3!

Eikura Nana is a very good actress and I think she'd be a very good Kyoko.

Ryo Nishikido would be a good Sho!

To me if they were the cast, that'd be perfect <3!!

Personally, I agree with those who say HORIKITA MAKI would make a good Kyoko.
Her image has the versatility to believably pull off the different sides of Kyoko, I think.

Sho would need to be a role filled by a musician, or at least that's my opinion.
He'd need to a) appear youngish, & b) look like a jerk when he needs to.
Maybe a Johnny's guy? Some of these suggestions could fit the bill, but I can't decide on one in particular.

Ren is just...difficult. He's hot, sweet, scary, and very nuanced.
Would help to look slightly foreign, must be tall with long legs.
??? So difficult...

in my opinion, a drama of skip beat would be EXTREMELY HARD TO MAKE...one, because the characters are really eccentric and exaggerated...it would be really difficult to portray kyoko's emotions because unlike in the anime, they can't have the little kyoko demons to explain kyoko's hatred in the drama...and another thing, the actor who plays ren needs to have MULTIPLE PERSONALITIES...ren is a really complex character and no random actor can just act as him...so in my opinion, a drama would be cool, but i doubt it would be as good as the anime...

Sho Fuwa: Yamapi ... the jealous outburst will be so cute!!!!

Kyoko: Aya Ueto ... although Kyoko is such a cool character, she can be annoying at times ... i would be less annoyed if it's Aya

Ren: Matsujun ... can you imagine a drama with Yamapi and Matsujun? Talk about eye candy.

It would be interesting if Aoi Mizayai plays Kyoko... but other than Tada Kimi wo Aishiteru, her other roles seem to be solemn.
