This Friday (2/27) from 5 pm/PST to Saturday (2/28) 5 pm/PST, CR is going to take part in Global Shinkai Day, a film festival celebrating the works of Makoto Shinkai! So for only 24 hours, everyone can see some of Shinkai-san’s amazing films for FREE in 480p before they have to go back in the anime vault.

Three of Shinkai-san’s critically acclaimed films will be featured here on CR during this time: Place Promised In Our Early Days, Voices of a Distant Star and 5 Centimeters per Second!

That's right! You can watch these awesome animes for FREE and in 480p! No matter who you are, wherever you are!

I too have seen 5 centimeters per second and I did enjoy it. I vaguely recall voiceof a distant star so I may have seen that as well. I shall have to watch all of them!
