i dont think the world is becoming any better or worse then it ever was
people still hurt and help each other in the same ways they always have, they just do it faster and on a larger scale now.

It's all the same really, you can take a life to save another. Or, you can sacrifice a life to spare another. What makes the difference is how you want the result to be. In effect, your enimity may be another's humble servant. Cunning isn't about gullible, it's about the abuse of trust, if you cunningly decieve sm1's trust, then you take advantage of what is held sacred at the heart of humanity- trust.

I don't think what makes the difference is what you want the result to be but rather how others perceive your results despite what you intended.

Cunning doesn't always involve another's trust. And if one's trust is betrayed then they were gullible in that they trusted the other so easily.

Lol...if you go around with that thinking then there's always gonna be plenty of people u wont trust including your friends. The truth is, if you're so afraid of being betrayed, then don't make friends or trust anybody. After all, you can't be stabbed in the back if there's nobody behind you.
What others percieve? If i killed a soldier who's invading my house, i'd be percieved as good by those who share my beliefs, but the other side will label me a misinformed foo for murdering their comrade. It's even about perception, the nuts and bolts of it is about how you want it to be. You can't do things you don't want to.

Haha, you're damn right there are plenty of people I don't trust. Are you kidding... haha

Perception is the basis of truth cupcake. For arguments sake lets use the judicial system as an example... So you shot a soldier who was invading your home.... despite how you wanted it to be, it was the courts perception that you were in the wrong. Therefore, their perception becomes truth and yours becomes a lie. Will you call the jury gullible for believing the state when their perception is opposite of you who perceives your actions as just? We define ourselves as individuals through our perception of events and ideas, as such, those perceptions or opinions become our own personal truths. When how you want something to be is put through the filter of someone's perception it no longer matters how you wanted it to be. When the perception of one is swayed by that of the groups, would you not call them gullible?

Terrorism has been around for over 100 years. The Filapinos have made it an artform in the Jungle.

I don't think technology has changed humanity, only the manifestations of kindness and brutality. I think that sadly, the world has remained in its perpetual state of turmoil.
