Depends on the anime. My Dad has heard some pretty strange things from an anime show, and Momz is always on the lookout to make sure I'm not watcing something I shouldn't be. So yeah, it depends on the anime.

Depends on the anime. I'm always afraid some naked person will streak across the screen and my uber conservative parents will see.

I was when I was watching Elfen Lied and my mom walked in. I was afraid that some more limbs were going to fly off or there would be another boob scene. But I just paused it and went on MySpace until she left. lol.

yeah, whenever my mom is in the room im always afraid one of the characters will do something really violent/perverted, even when shes not looking at the screen. when i first started watching anime i would only watch it late at night and with headphones.

once when i was 14 my mom forbid me from watching DBZ, so its not like my fears are completely unfounded.

on the other hand, my dad likes anime. (my parents are divorced and my dad lives in another state) when i told him i liked anime he bought me a copy of Akira
