Horror movies are the best to watch when cuddling up with someone you love <3

I don't like them, they are too wierd, and i always think about how things like this happen in real life. and if i were really watching someone get cut up, itd be terrible, so why is watching fictional butchering any different?

horror movie can't make u a violent person....
Actually yea it can. Movies period can influence people. If you're a unstable person atleast in your mind there is nothing blocking that fine line between reality and fantasy. So someone can decide to become the next jason because it looked kool in the movie. It may even influence and you don't even really realize it. I just watched sweet home alabama and I'm in love with rednecks already.

lol that made me chuckle
anywho, i agree. horror movies can and DO affect people to be violent.
of course it's those who are dont know the difference between whats real and fake.
but i like horror movies. they suck nowadays though. I laugh and crack jokes through most of them lol. I Am Legend actually made me jump a couple of times for the first time in a LONG time lol. its not even really a horror flick(more suspense, sci-fi and thriller than anything in my opinion)

yea these movies dnt make sense now a days and this is coming from a person who is afraid of scary movies. i went to 30 nights of horror or terror whatever which one and I thought I was gonna go home crying...I was laughing through the movie...but their noses were really huge and the ending sucked.

I used to love horror movies, now its hard to find a decent one. Most just try to hard, though Hide and Seek was done well.

I wish I could say I watch horror movies because they are thrilling or scary but the reality is I watch horror movies cause they are funny. The fact that the movie its trying to convey something serious but comes off as unintentionally amusing just cracks me up. The only time I gasp is when something pops out of nowhere but being surprised is not the same as being scared.

The grudge, the rings, all the saw, all the exorcist movies and the chain saw massacre ones were very funny. All the teenagers who are being followed by a psycho killer movies are too dull to even be amusing. Also, there are the occasional hunted house or ghost movies that I like because of the suspense.

Oh, yeah about the violence nope watching "horror" movies doesn't make me violent well, maybe just a little when the movie is really bad I have a desire to throw my popcorns and kill the producers.

Horror movies are GREAT FUN to watch with your friends, personally nothing makes me happier then to finish watching a horror movie and looking back at it, at night if its a scary enough movie I would hide under my blanket being scared such as the grudge?

I personally don't like the cheap tricks in some horror movies where something suddenly appears with a huge noise which makes you jump...

Also I recently seen a movie called "1408" which was a decent horror movie although the ending was really stupid didn't make any sense left so many questions unanswered...
Fun show to watch with your friends

Yeah most people watch it because its scary, thats why its a horror movie
I wouldn't watch a HORROR movie if it weren't scary

I grew up on them and I just love the thrill of them. It's been a long time since I've seen a REALLY scary one though. Too sad.
